Unable to book a room with just a double bed, all have a single bed which takes up room. As a couple, we would have needed 2 bath towels & 2 hand towels, there was 1 bath towel & 2 hand.

Probably was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were very clean n comfortable.

WiFi in rooms not great. Telly couldn’t connect to WiFi so with two young children that wanted to watch Netflix this was a big let done for them.

Fantastic staff - would stay again

All staff we met were so welcoming and friendly. When we first checked in, we noticed a smell coming from the drains and let the reception know. The hotel were so attentive to check on us and offered us a room change, which we didn't end up taking as the problem was quickly sorted for us. We had the steak for dinner and it was sublime!! Breakfast was lovely and again, staff were super helpful and accommodating for the needs of our daughter who is a picky eater..

Dinner menu was limited, although anything we ordered was tasty.

The room in general! It was dirty ! It stank the second you walked in the smell hit you ! Stains on floor stains on wall curtains and damp Stains on walls ! No bulb in lamp ! Orange / brown rust stains dripping from bar in shower black / brown stains in toilet ! Remote didn’t work ! Mattress was fit for the skip ! We thought it was a water bed at first when we sat on it ! Ridiculous! Mirror positioned in front of tray/kettle stand instead of in front of the actual dressing table ! We had to keep curtains closed as the beer garden right out side the window literally table and chairs right at the window! Zero privacy! Poor lighting in room ! Not happy to say the least

Had a great stay at the Glenside we always stay here when we visit Drogheda. The rooms are spacious and clean. The best

It was nice and quiet and we got a good sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast. But the best thing we liked was the friendly staff, especially Christine who made us feel so welcome, her and the staff are an asset to The Glenside.

I LOVED THE PEACE AND QUIET. THE STAFF WAS LOVELY AND FRIENDLY. THE FOOD WAS TASTY. EVERYTHING WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN. GREAT PARKING AND THE CAR WAS SAFE. WILL RETURN AGAIN WHEN THERE IS A GOOD OFFER.

THE ONLY THING THE ROOM WAS A LITTLE TO WARM BUT WE TURNED OF THE RADIATOR AND OPENED THE WINDOW IT WAS A WARM NIGHT.

There were 5 of us travelling, including a 3 year old. When we arrived, the Glenside was extremely busy, which is always a good sign. They dealt with us quickly and efficiently, and directed us to our rooms. Reception is low key, basically a phone, laptop and a desk. I reckon this leaves management with the opportunity to re lay out the area should it be required. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had all we needed. We had both our evening meal and breakfast in the hotel. Both meals were good quality and reasonably priced. The evening meal was extremely busy, with the clientele being mostly families. At breakfast they were willing to accommodate personal preferences. One particular plus point was the garden. We had a 3 year old who lives for hide and seek. The garden appears to be only accessible from the hotel itself. That makes it easier, and safer, to allow her to run around and enjoy herself. The crowd in the restaurant cleared early, so when I went for a pint later, the bar was empty.

There were no real negative points. Perhaps a few biscuits with the hospitality tray would be nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights. Stay away regularly for work. and this hotel was amongst the best I have experienced.

Made to feel at home from check in. Lovely welcome from reception and all checked in with no issues. Room was very agreeable, clean, fresh and tasteful decor. Shower and bathroom were immaculate with an excellent shower products in good numbers. Breakfast selection was very good and catered for all, both in range and quantities. Bar was well stocked, healthy selection of draught beers, including a lovely Guinness. Decor throughout was very tasteful and you can see the effort put in to maintain good standards. All staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable. Nothing was a problem and all were genuine in their assistance.

Honestly cannot find fault. It is a very relaxed environment, at least when I was a guest. Very chilled atmosphere.

The room was very dated could use a major refurbishment. The was rust on the bathroom radiator and shower hand rail, also the peddle bin in bathroom fell apart on first use. There was loads of dust on the shower curtain rail on top. The WiFi didn't work at all in either business or free guest WiFi. One socket between the beds didn't work.
