Satisfactory stay but not a special stay. Not a four star in my opinion. Won’t be back.

Clean. Modern. Restaurant very well run in the evening and food very good. Staff in restaurant very diligent.

Safe in room broken. Some power sockets not working. Jacuzzi in pool broken and some features in pool not operating. Breakfast very average/poor and a bit of a rip off in my opinion.

Disappointed

The Hotel itself was clean and tidy, the beds were not very comfortable but thats a matter of preference. You could tell the effort the cleaning staff put into the rooms, the bathroom was shining and beds were so well made. The pool staff were also very attentive and accommodating to our kids and the pool facilities were very well maintained.

When we first arrived to check in we were immediately disappointed by the hotel reception staff, namely Paulina. Unfortunately manners and professionalism was not top of her list. When paying with cash we were told we needed to leave a €100 cash deposit aswell as our card details to assure the room was satisfactory when we left, I have never been asked for this before and when I questioned it her tone was extremely rude and short, almost like she couldn't be bothered explaining it. When we were checking out the next morning the same staff member was on the desk, and when I asked for the deposit back she insisted on calling the cleaning staff to check the room before she gave us out €100 deposit back. She then got quite snappy and condescending with me when I again questioned it. Since everyone else just dropped their keys into a box and simply walked out of the hotel. I felt our family were judged in someway by her and she made that very clear. Finally after 20mins of waiting the cleaning staff said that our room was left in perfect condition and they could hand us back the deposit. I was so embarrassed at this point I did not even call for a manager I just wanted to get out of there. We have never been treated like that in all our time travelling around as a family, and we most definitely wont be returning for this reason alone.

Staff are the stars of this hotel

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Ella in the bar was excellent. The two door staff in the lobby were very nice too. Our children loved playing with them! We ordered breakfast to the room one morning and the staff member who delivered it was extremely nice and chatty. Size of the room was great, nice big windows. It was quiet. The bed were comfortable too and the location 30 min to Newgrange was perfect for us.

The atmosphere in the bar was a bit flat, this was probably due to the decor. The staff however were amazing. One of the buttons on our toilet was broken, the plastic bag holder in the bathroom was broken, the room over all was grubby and stained The swimming pool was grubby and there was not lit up well enough (I felt this was dangerous) but the life guards seemed to be very alert.

Surprisingly poor service.

Breakfast was good.

Friends paid for a bottle of champagne and a note to be left for me as it was my 60th birthday. But in the room was a cheap bottle of prosecco and no note as if the hotel left it for me as a welcome gift. Only a friend told me what it was, I never would have known. The hotel did not tell the friend that they supplied prosceeco instead left no note and no refund. The friend complained and a refund on the difference in price was issued - but only because they were found out. No apology issued!

Bar staff ignored you took a long time to get a over priced drink at the bar

Breakfast was not included in the room at €145 so we paid an extra €41 for a breakfast no coffee with breakfast just seem the breakfast was thrown together

Better value, we went to see The Fureys and we had to stand at the back as there was no seats

A lovely night away will defo be back

This hotel is in a great location, leisure dome and cinema 5 mins away (kids loved that). I love that it has a swimming pool and sensory room, the restaurant service was excellent and the food was fabulous my second time here with the kids and will defo be back.

The only thing I can say is I thought the breakfast was over priced as it wasn’t included in my stay and my kids don’t eat much

Nice hotel, terrible breakfast

Property was clean and our evening meal was lovely.

Pool opening times were unavailable in the morning until after checkout. Breakfast was terrible to be honest. We were told on the morning no buffet was available and breakfast would be cooked to order. When we asked what was included in the cooked breakfast or could we see a menu, we were told it was a mini breakfast for kids and a larger one for adults that was it no idea what we were getting. When it arrived it was most certainly not cooked to order, rubbery eggs, cold sausages, bacon etc and the salt content made it impossible to eat! Best part was the tea and toast i made. Waste of money to be honest.

Clean room and spacious, towels provided…

We checked into the hotel as we had an event booked in one of their halls. We had no issues checking in nor getting to our room. The staff on the reception and the bar tenders were excellent. After checking in we proceeded to our party. We enjoyed good music and good food, the program went well. Then the incident with cleaning staff and security personnel happened. When our party still had about 30 minutes remaining a cleaner suddenly entered, switched on the lights, and began arranging the chairs. When he realised people were still seated, he went off to call security. Security then came in abruptly and demanded that the DJ turn off the music. When our event coordinator showed them the booking permit confirming we still had time left, they simply walked away without offering any apology. By then, the atmosphere had already been disrupted, and the lack of professionalism was very disappointing -no communication. Some of our friends spoke to cleaning staff afterwards, and they eventually admitted that proper procedures had not been followed. The behaviour was appalling. Our journey did not end there. We were all fast asleep in our room and suddenly we heard noise from the neighbouring room , it was early morning around 5 a.m. It sounded like staff were using the room for their own gathering—talking loudly, knocking against the walls, and banging the window. When I knocked on the wall, I heard them quickly gather their things and leave.

Location, easy to get to. Room lovely and big. The Love the Make up mirror in the bathroom

Had to press the shampoo thing about 20 times to get enough to wash hair. Hairdryer fixed into drawer in room far from a mirror (who designed that?). No light switch on my side of the bed, all on the other side (who designs these things??)

The property was more than we could have asked for! It was so family friendly, the staff were extremely kind, the restaurant was 10/10. One of the best places we've stayed! Value for money is an understatement!

Heating in room didn’t work , after waiting for an hour no one Arrived to check it. Arrived back after night out to two plug in radiators. Unacceptable should’ve been moved rooms. Shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot no in between so that was broken also. Sockets beside bed broken. Toilet leaking water all night.

The hotel is very nice and a great location for Emerald park. Unfortunately I felt they were very understaffed for the amount of guests they had. There was a function on the weekend we were there so we had to wait a long time to get served at the bar.

The leisure centre was lovely and the staff there were very helpful.

Our room was freezing, we left the heater on which was very noisy and it didn't make any difference. The room we were in was obviously near a function room so my kids found it hard to go to sleep with the noise.

Traveled to over 100 countries. this hotel stay will be always remembered.

We made the booking with little concern because of the distance from city center, but it came out as a blessing. Public transport available to City center and airport with in 5 minute walk. Great place for budget travelers and great place to stay for mderate travelers with excellent bigger cleaner rooms with an excellent restaurant in property. Some childrens attractions with pool in the property which we didn't experienced as we are older. Very FRIENDLY STAFF lined up to answerer our questions and helped guiding. Experience country living without any additional effort. Remember we are not talking about any glamorous, colorful Las vegas style living, please note.

Poor area was disgusting, it don’t seem like it’s clean regularly. They charge for breakfast, but something still cost extra if you want to place an order.

The room was dusty. The state of both the male and female health & fitness changing rooms were disgusting, and so was the swimming pool and steam room areas. The breakfast was not value for money, the buffet food pans were left empty for a long time, and charging extra for latte/ cappuccino on top of €15 charge per head was diabolical. Overall, the hotel was overpriced at over £200 per night and our stay was definitely not value for money.

Overall, it’s a family-friendly hotel with an acceptable price-to-value ratio.

The family room was quite comfortable for 6 people, including 3 children aged 8, 10, and 12. The single beds were not fixed, so they moved around with a bigger motion. The pool was nice. The children’s swimming lessons took up some space in the pool area, but there was still plenty of room. Breakfast was plentiful with many options, though a more professional coffee machine would be an improvement. I paid €344 for one night, which is not cheap but also not completely unreasonable.

The carpet in the room could be more modern, and there was a slightly unpleasant smell in the corridor.
