Straight forward check in process. The room was spotless, fresh, modern and comfortable. We booked breakfast as part of our reservation, which was simply delicious! This hotel is a world away from B'ham - had to keep reminding myself that I was still in the UK.

We loved the decore, very clean and modern.
The room 103 had a few hazards, the door fresh hold as you step in was raised , which made as trip, it’s not level with the floor. The door stop on the floor, I knocked my foot and tripped over. The area to hang clothes is over the untilty area.

Very comfy bed! Very friendly and helpful staff! I chose this Hotel because I wanted to be near a venue where I attendened a seminar for 3 days and this hotel was just perfect in walking distance to that seminar venue. Despite Acocks Green beeing what it is, this Hotel is amazing! When there was a problem with the heating, I got a different and even bigger room immediatly. Boths rooms were very well fournitated and equiped with tea and coffe machine and the best beds ever! I can trully recomand this Hotel!

Great location for the airport. Plenty of space in the onsite car park (£5 charge). Room was basic bit comfortable and clean.
Walls are thin and neighbours were noisy, but generally a quiet area.
Onsite restaurant basic but decent for drinks and snacks.
Bit noisy.

Really clean, the staff were very friendly and professional. Really impressed for the price I paid. The young man at breakfast, it was his first week, was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stay again 😃

The Hotel was clean and tidy and perfectly located for our needs to get into central Birmingham. The bar & restaurant staff were very tentitive and the breakfast choice and quality were great. Will defo return on our next visit to Birmingham. 👍
There was no real friendly welcome from the reception staff & breakfast on a Saturday finished @ 9.30am to the dismay of a guest who turned up for breakfast @ 9.40 . Come on push this out to 10.00am on a weekend . I don’t like paying for hotel parking at the best of times and feel this is another way of a hotel company dipping their hands into your pockets . 👎

The hotel was well located for my business the following day.
The room was extremely noisy because the window was right next to a busy road, without any added noise insulation. Also, the room had an unpleasant funny smell and took a very long time to warm up, because the radiator was located behind the curtain. The restaurant was around half full but staff stated food would take a long time because it was busy, so I decided to eat out instead. Altogether not a good experience.

The room was great and suitable for my needs for one evening. If i was staying longer i think i would have preferred a bigger room.
The staff at the hotel was great and they welcomed myself graciously.
The food was suitable and was served very quickly, for both my evening and breakfast meals.
The staff maintained a high cleanliness of the hotel and restaurant
What i didn't like was the amount of stairs that was in the building, If i was traveling with family, who are disabled i would have needed to look for other accommodation. My recommendation is to either put a lift in the venue or maybe have rooms that are lower down (don't know if there is rooms on the main floor as i only went to my room and the restaurant).
I did have a bit of a walk to my room, which is ok, but if someone who has either worked all day or been traveling for a long time, this would be even more exhausting for them.
On the time of the booking i did not see that breakfast and parking was extra, i would have like this to be included,

The property was good, but the staircase is too big and makes it difficult to take your luggage to rooms. There’s have no porter.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 days , continent for the NEC. Staff made me feel like I was at home in fact I didn't want to go home. Definitely stay here again. Food quality was well prepared and prevented also good value. Freshly decorated in a classic modern style. The manager was a very friendly lady made me feel very welcome. I loved the hotel and will come back

Staff, smell from hallways, room was so small and cramped I couldn’t open my suitcase on the floor nor could I open the bathroom door more than halfway before hitting the bed which also was the smallest, thinnest bed I’ve ever seen!
The bar was closed I was told first night, second night I was very aggressively told that the floor in bar has just been mopped and I should sit out here in the lobby and be served. I said fine and sat down and gave my order for a beverage only to be told 5 mins later that the bar is closed again!
The first night I had someone in the room “109” next to mine, he was taking drugs and arguing in the phone all night constantly barging out of his room in to the hallway threatening the people on his phone, this made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable to the point where I didn’t feel safe sleeping
How appalling my weekend stay was in this horrible hotel never again will I book here and have will always recommend people to avoid this horrid place

Shower wasnt the best. Unclear how it worked, and at best a warm weakish effort, but still managed to get clean.

I booked this hotel as I was travelling to the Utilita Arena on the Sunday for an even with my teenage Son. I was really impressed with the hotel. It had changed names earlier this month, but this had no impact on our stay. It looked clean and like it had recently been re-decorated. The Rception staff were very friendly. The room was perfect for what we needed - a pit stop overnight. We walked to the local high street to get something to eat and we were able to park onsite for a very reasonable price of £5.
Nothing I can think of.

Location & rooms were clean
No lifts, hard pillows, food in the bar/restaurant could have been a LOT better. Paid £14 for them to cook an Iceland pizza

The property was clean, newly decorated and comfortable. For a one night stay it was perfect to visit the university which was a 20mins drive away.
The dining room and bar were open until late (although I didn’t need to use it).
The tea facilities in the room were very welcome.
The staff I encountered were friendly.
The lamp provided in the room had a broken plug when I arrived which needs sorting out (room 139)
But the bedside lamps were sufficient anyway.
Other than that no problems at all.
Parking is £5 additional charge. I am a blue badge user and the one and only spot was taken and not in a very accessible place.

Everything - a small hotel but with big quality service, room, breakfast, evening meal and very comfortable with excellent staff - would use again and thank you¬
Nothing!

A lovely, modern yet cosy, recently refurbished hotel in a good quiet location 10 minutes walk into town centre and practically next door to the train station. The breakfast was freshly cooked and a selection of cold breakfast foods were available. The staff were very friendly. Good value for money, quiet location with comfy beds
The communication problems between myself and the mostly foreign staff. I had paid for my stay prior to checking-in, but was accused of not paying as I had paid using booking.com and apparently the receptionist couldn't find confirmation of this. It was a sad end to a good stay at a very nice hotel.
