Nice hotel, clean and spacious rooms

The lady at the reception ans the clean and spacious rooms

It was very loud at the restaurant and for small kids maybe a bit too loud. We wanted to have a drink at the restaurant and there were free tables, however, they told us twice ‘no’ - just like that, without explanation or apology. Very unfriendly.

Great!

The staff is very friendly! The breakfast was amazing and the location very central. It’s a cozy, family like property and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is also a restaurant so if you have a room facing the courtyard, it will be noisy until 22:00/22:30. I wouldn’t advise this property for someone that has trouble sleeping, families or people who need to go to sleep early.

Location was perfect. A beautiful b&b so quaint and pretty. Breakfast was to a high standard. Giada on reception was so lovely. I didn't catch the other lady's name at breakfast but she was equally as lovely. I booked a standard room. It had everything I needed

Great location and traditional homely stay

Staff were very friendly from the get go. We were given a free drink each to enjoy in the very nice courtyard, as well as a very generous breakfast buffet. The room was spacious, and the location was great.

Small & friendly, exceptional position and friendly accomodating staff. The restaurant was fantastic with a wonderful 1600s authentic room and the food was the best we had in Ascona.

all the smells from the kitchen are felt in the room and in the hotel lobby. Hotel rooms look much better in the pictures then in reality. Breakfast is rather basic ( musli, eggs) no vegan or more sophisticated options. no electric kettle in the room. quality of the service is to my opinion overpriced.

Easy and relaxed check-in/check-out procedure. Even in off-season (almost no guests) everything felt cozy and inviting. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Free welcome drinks in the bar at the sister property. (they also do amazing carbonara!) Complementary room upgrade was nice.

Superb

Excellent location, 5 min to the bus, the lake site just over the corner, but yet a quiet location. We were there at the time of jazz festival and still good to sleep. Very good breakfast, Very friendly staff. Good ambiance in the old building. We also took a dinner in the restaurant - very nice place and good food.

It might only relate to our room 7, The room was relatively humid, may be due to a facility room near by. To compensate, the room was facing a quiet small street - was possible to keep windows open for the night.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at!!

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at thanks to the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the staff! We stayed mother and daughter back in April, and found the hotel beautifully decorated, the rooms very spacious and located just next to the lake and small shops. The breakfast was very good and of high quality, as well as the dinner and drinks. The ladies at reception were simply amazing, helpful, easygoing and extremely professional, especially Giada:-) Thank you for this extraordinary stay, we will for sure be back and recommend your hotel to friends and family!
