Rawi Warin Resort And Spa - SHA Extra Plus

We couldn’t rate this place highly enough. It was just wonderful. And exceeded our experience of other 5 star hotels in Thailand, including big names. The staff were just so genuinely friendly and accommodating. So helpful for us as a family with two young children, and on a vegan diet. The facilities were well looked after, clean and even out of season, so much was available. A daily schedule of activities for adults and kids. Some complimentary activities (we did them all in our week stay!). The Muay Thai was also excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and what was not available on buffet, we could request. The resort has a lot of wildlife and nature with a beautiful pond in the middle. But the rooms and guest areas were so looked after, that there were no ‘unwanted guests’, which is a rare find for nature stays and the reason we stay in 5 star resorts. We visited out of season so we were able to use the beach despite not being able to go in the sea. And if it did rain, there was plenty to do on the resort. The spa was pricey compared to Bangkok but not compared to similar resorts and the quality was high. The hotel arranged our transfer from the airport and the vehicle was perfect, complete with massage seats and baby car seats. We compared the price of the transfer with other local companies and it wasn’t that different. We also used a taxi from the hotel to visit other beaches.

The hotel was so good that our hotel bookings following this one could not live up to our experience at Rawi Warin! No complaints or comments!

The resort is stunning. The staff are welcoming and the check in procedure is smooth while you sip your welcome drink. The accommodations are lovely and private, and within easy proximity of the main facilities (restaurant / beach / bar / pool). The staff of the restaurant (particularly of breakfast - including Mee, the manager) are consistently attentive and friendly. Not just polite and pleasant, but truly friendly and super accommodating. The pool staff - towels and bar - are also smiling and easy going. Nothing is a problem - everything is easy! The main dining room serves delicious meals! They are a little more expensive, although still within what you may expect for this quality. Eating off resort was also very easy - just a short walk away is a local place run by a lady who serves excellent, authentic Thai food called Baan Peek Mai - the Cashew Chicken is wonderful!!. Also nearby is a cooking school which we loved, run by Chef Pak - worth doing!! Thank you to everyone at Rawi Warin - we loved our stay!

We stayed there in the off season, so not all amenities were available. Nothing to complain about - that's a seasonal issue. Suggestion: some games / sports options to play with in addition to the ping pong table. Possibly include a few more English books in the library. An outdoor movie night could be really fun.

The resort is perfect, you cannot fault it. The service of the team and the details in the layout. There’s a beautiful pool high up in the resort, if you can bare the walk up the stairs from the beach, it’ll take you all the way to the top. It’s a pretty private infinity pool which gives you the most amazing views over looking the beach strip.

Surly general manager and poorly trained staff...On arrival, was shown to rooms far away on a hill and away from the facilities and on 6th floor without lift..have one old person and two small children, asked to be moved but had to pay extra...also, me and my daughter were bitten all over by what was quite likely bedbugs due to the intimate places of the bites. These were extremely painful but when I complained to the general manager, she was surely and dismissive, refusing to acknowledge the issue. We were truly taken aback, have stayed in hotels all over and never been treated in that way - she should not be in the hospitality industry. It ruined what would have been a reasonable stay. The hotel is also nice enough but rough around the edges, not a 5 star, more like 4.
