Good but needs a lot of improvements

The room is very spacious, with a balcony with a view of the trees and the river. The parking lot is not that big, but we didn't have problems finding a spot. The breakfast was good, and there weren't any lines when we were there.

The first impression is not good with the really bad cigarette smell when we opened the room's door. The room was clean, but the smell was very annoying especially for someone with allergies. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are very small, and there's only one pillow per person. The TV is very outdated and there are almost no channels in english speaking channels. The shower box is very small. We can see that the hotel needs a lot of renovations.

we’ll set up for the thru-hiker such as the ability to dry wet clothes. pretty setting.

receptionist unavailable at our time of arrival. we had to wait more than 30 min and afterwards the receptionist was unfriendly. one reception open for more than 200 hosts

Nice rooms, but avoid eating at the restaurant

Nice location, friendly staff. The room was clean and well equipped for a short stay. The room was easy to find although there are a whole lot of rooms in the hotel.

The restaurant was very poor. We went for dinner at 20h00 (reserved table, 2 hours after opening hours to avoid the big crowd). The waiter got our order after 5 minutes, but our food only came at 21h45!!! And: my (simple) spaghetti was very poor quality (i ate better camping spaghetti) and was medium cold.... A disgrace and the worst 66 euro spent in ages....

Excellent setting, good food, clean rooms and helpful staff

Helpful staff at check in. Excellent early breakfast, we were there for a race, so needed an early start. Great setting in the woods.

A kettle in the room for tea making would have been great for us Brits!

Modern room, nice and quiet, friendly staff!

Very good breakfast, i had to leave early, so could already enjoy coffee and croissants at 7:15. Staff was very friendly, prepared me a late night snack. The beds were comfy, quiet room and modern bathroom.

Parking was over crowded, the location is huge and a bit away from the town.

Okay for short stay

Reception was friendly and helpful. We could park close to our room to keep an eye on the car. Nice view from our room too.

The pool was much smaller than anticipated. Also need a euro cash to use the lockers, which we were not told. In 2022 not everyone walks around with cash/coins anymore. Outside the room was a bit noisy in the corridor. Breakfast was good; what you expect from a buffet style breakfast.

Staff were great! Location was great & breakfast was good.

Breakfast was decent. Grounds were beautiful & it was conveniently located for us for what we wanted to visit.

We forgot it was Easter weekend! So it was very, very busy! Nothing really that the hotel could have done, but the amount of families & children meant there was no sleeping in for long!

there was no hot water, the room was very cols even when we put the heating on. in the common spaces like corridors we were freezing. we were told that we can check out at 4 pm on Sunday and after I we were have received an invoice to pay additional 30 euros for a lazy Sunday... no one has told us about the addition fee for staying longer. breakfast was very poor.

Combination of hotel and trail 'start/finish'. Very comfortable. After dinner talks and drinks in bar.

Seatings in buffet restaurant: whole group was dispersed over restaurant (despite availability of tables nearby).
