An excellent base for staying in the Ardennes with great food as well

Very clean and comfortable hotel in excellent location with free parking very close by. The breakfast was outstanding, with homemade yoghurt and jams and wide range of other items. The restaurant was excellent - and reservations are essential as it is deservedly popular with the locals also.

Lovely, hard working family who thoroughly deserve all the accolades

Rooms were modest but clean, very comfortable beds but the overall experience at the this small family run hotel was outstanding. The restaurant meals were imaginative and of the highest standard. Definitely the best restaurant in town with warm, wonderful atmosphere. A jewel.

Good place to stop for a night while touring Battle of the Bulge sites. A couple of local restaurants across the street.

It was very clean and easy to get to. Lovely owners and restaurant. Very lovely stay.

All we required was a comfortable night's stay, and the hotel provided this more than adequately.

The room was basic but comfortable, clean, and quiet. The beds were particularly comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. (Breakfast was not required)

Very comfortable stay, was hiking and had everything I needed right there. Enjoyed the Chouffe at night and a filling breakfast in the morning.

Adding the possibility of hanging up the shower head in the bath would be great!

Breakfast was excellent! Location perfect in a lovely town.

I was not aware that the restaurant facilities are closed on a Monday. Was referred next door for dinner, not bad.

You can hear everyone else in the hotel, even next door snoring. Ear plugs needed.

Perfect, relaxing base camp for hiking in the Ardennes

The room was bigger than we thought and the breakfast service and food were excellent. Staff spoke several languages. They have a respectable menu and bring in fresh products from local sources. (I think even the yogurt was homemade).

They were still renovating some parts - probably this was delayed due to Covid-19 - It didn't bother us as such, but soon the place will be even better.

Fantastic

The Hotel is located in the beautiful village of Houffalize and is an ideal base for exploring the region. The owners immediately make you feel welcome and are very helpful. They have an extensive selection of local beers and the owner is a fantastic cook! The dishes are very tasty and based on local fresh seasonal products. Vegetarians are not forgotten either! My wife is a vegetarian and the vegetarian dishes were original, with fresh products and very tasty! The breakfast is extensive, including home-made yogurt. We can recommend this hotel to everyone! we will definitely go back.

The only negative point was Covid-19. There were no further comments at all

Rustig geslapen in een mooie, grote kamer met een voortreffelijk restaurant!

De locatie was zoals verwacht: mooie en grote kamer en een rustige ligging. Het ontbijt was zeker in orde, maar wat restaurant was super!! Een héél lekker Valentijnsmenu aan een hele goede prijs. Het eten was voortreffelijk, zodat we er de volgende avond opnieuw gegeten hebben. En weer was het een voltreffer...felicitaties aan de chef!!

Alles is meegevallen; geen enkele opmerking.
