Great little campsite if you're travelling. It's very picturesque and unique. Very clean as well. And the owner was very welcoming and helpful even when I checked in late.
The toilet is perhaps normal for a campsite in the middle of nowhere, but not one I'd seen before. You had to put a paper bag into the toilet and do your business into that, rather awkward! There was only one tiny hand mirror, the place could really do with a bigger mirror on the wall. No toiletries at all, not even hand soap next to the sink. And no hairdryer?! I can't remember the last time I stayed somewhere without one, this was very clearly owned by a man. The shower was also quite cold and only one thin towel was provided. The morning/evening getting ready process wasn't the most comfortable! Oh and paying additional for linen and then leaving me to make my own bed did feel rather cheeky when I was already paying £340 for one night stay.

It was a pleasant surprise after a long trip when we got a whole house to ourselves when the caravan we booked was double booked by (Booking.com) Spacious and own privacy from the rest of the campsite. Nice staff. Our youngest did like the horses next door.
The beds were not very comfortable so it gives the visit a slightly worse impression and where was the vacuum cleaner.

Affordable price and nice owner. Beautiful location
We were cold in the caravan (no heater found) and a window store was broken so we had a lot of light in the caravan which didn’t help for sleeping.
