Convenient and easy stay.

This lodge was very convenient and easy for an overnight trip while traveling north back home from Oslo. It’s very close to the ferry so it was very convenient to leave just before the ferry left to continue on north. Also, the check-in process was very smooth and easy and the price was good.

Honestly, I have very few expectations for these types of stays. This lodge met the few expectations I did have except for one. The beds were maybe the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on my life. After waking up, we realized the reason for this. There was no mattress. Just a mattress topper on top of a boxspring. Not sure how this happened, but it led to a very uncomfortable night sleep. I would recommend changing to an actual mattress in these rooms. Or if that is a mattress, just know that it does not do anything at all, and you feel every single spring in the bed all night long.

I stayed in a bungalow. It is old fashioned but comfortable and clean. Good beds, strong shower and well heated. Kitchen area was useful for preparing basic meals. Location is a good stop for travelers

An amazing location for staying! We even could caught a Northern Lights in the second half of April 2025! Great communication and an unforgettable mountain view from bungalow!

Not really a value for money - could be cheaper

- Nice location - Good that you could park right in front of your door - Good equipment in the kitchen - comfortable beds - apartment itself was clean

- one of the matresses was dirty and that looked a bit awful - the table was very unpractical, since it had two opposite chairs, but the table was only accessible from one side to comfortably sit there with legs under the table - when turning on the heater, it smelled like something got burned in it (it was not anything I could prevent)

Location to the ferry.

50 years out of date. No extractor fan in kitchen so place smelt of horrible food. Bathroom dark. No socket for kettle. No towels or bedding. High price when breakfast not included.

It was close to the road, but not noisy

We were not made aware that the water would not be hot, stood for ages in the shower with freezing water, gave up in the end. Two bedside lights were both hanging from the wall, only one bulb working. Overhead lamp had one of the 2 bulbs mot working. The WC had water leaking constantly making the floor wet where you stood, so you had to keep footwear on all the time. This is why it was not good value.
