Wester Muirhouse

The accommodation was very spacious for us two and our two terriers. Everything was laid out well and was clean and tidy. We were amazed at how quickly the water was hot at the tap or shower head. We love Linlithgow and there was lots of local information about the area and board games for the darker evenings.. The walks for our dogs were great, with great views of the hills and mountains. Nicola and Erich were adjacent and were very friendly and helpful. We advised Nicola beforehand that we are both vegetarian and she altered some of the food items for us. It was great to try some different food items, all of which was fresh. Thank you both, we will be back.

Nothing to dislike. We were very satisfied with everything.

Easy to get to, lovely hosts and a beautiful place to stay. Warm, peaceful and great to be in a rural location but also close to Linlithgow. An extremely well equipped place.

Nothing every was great

Very nice and quite and peaceful. Was not sure how to work the gas cooker but it was fine, we had toast anyway. Well equipped. Good amount of space for 4 adults. Good soft beds and a nice lounge, spacious for us all.

How to turn the gas cooker on bu was not a major issue

Lovely location close to towns but quiet with far reaching views

It was very cold indoors with insufficient heating. The owner did his best to provide extra heaters but it really wasn’t very comfortable. Masses of glass in the living area with no curtains or blinds. Cutlery kept breaking. Extractor fan in kitchenette not working.
