Clean, tv works, shower is fine. Staff seemed nice.
Though it did smell a bit like a previous guest might’ve washed their socks in the bathroom. Which is not really their fault. Very strong air freshener/ cleaning product smell in the corridor also. No noise from other guests.
The staff said you can now choose your room for an extra £3. I’ve been on both front and back of this now and both have traffic noise (motorway at the back, main road at the front). Possibly the front was a bit better, the view is more interesting. I think this hotel is a bit nicer than the Metro opposite because it’s got a side light as well as the (bright) overhead light: Though side lights could do with being warmer white. It’s also in better repair than the Metro. Though it lacks a kitchen, which the Metro has.
There’s a LOT of litter/fly tipping adjacent the car park area.
Still overall it was fine, would go back.

Look was ok no real complaints, need a car if staying here. A lot of workers and people with dogs stay at the hotel. Close to a pub, and Chinese restaurant. The room was fairly clean.
