Large room in annex of hotel. Nice breakfast, comftable beds. Take car driving up the drive as narrow and no passing places.

Maybe my mistake for booking a room in what looks to be a very old building. But the room I was given like the rest of the hotel was very tired.
The bed was uncomfortable and creaky, the furnishings in the room may back in the day have been nice but now are tired. No sockets by the bed to charge your phone or in my case plug in my CPAP machine. The WiFi was dreadful in the room
The bath room was very aged and the shower was dangerously hot and took 5 mins to get to decent temperature.
I had a pint of flat lager that was £7:50 😳.
Positives are the breakfast and the service on the breakfast room.
