The instructions were clear with a video that shows all you need to know to get in. the building is unlike anything I've stayed in before - unusual and tons of character. The owner is easy to reach and helpful and public transport is handily near by.
The showers were a bit on the small side and hence a bit cramped, might be an issue for larger persons although my kids were happy. The area, although lovely, is a bit further from the center (10 stations from the Doumo) however the metro station is close (7 minutes walk).

Safe. Fairly close to public transport. Some good bar and restaurant choices.
Too many keys & need for securit to the apartment. Half an hour to Milan Central station by public transport.
