All in all, it was a pretty decent stay, but there are a few points worth highlighting! On a positive note, there’s a metro station nearby, making it easy to get around! The Central Train Station is just a 20-25 minute walk away. Plus, there’s a pizza joint right next door, which is convenient if you get in late!

First off, there's a reason people go for the remote check-in option. Arriving late is definitely one. It did create a bit of stress when we realized we needed to grab the keys before 9 p.m. to avoid a €50 late check-in fee. It would have been helpful to have some clarity on why there's such a fee in the first place. What a buzzkill! We had to rush in the middle of metro strike for a timely key pick up to avoid the penalty fee in the middle of communication hiccups about filling out the form and the let in info was sent late. We had to input our passport info and then send pictures of the same info. You’d think just sending a passport photo would do the trick! The apartment itself is renovated, but sandwiched between trains, which means nighttime noise. The building’s stairs could use a serious makeover. They are moldy, sketchy, and downright dirty. There was no doormat or coat hanger, which would have come in handy on this rainy day arrival. There's no coffee machine as listed and some of the dishes were not washed properly. Also, there were no blankets whatsoever and the bed board and covers could use a bit of extra cleaning care.
