Disappointing

Seeing the Sudermar in person was like swiping right on a dating app only to discover on the first date that the profile photo was over 10 years old. In its heyday it must have been majestic and beautiful. I had so been looking forward to the date but I left without even having a drink.

Quirky base for exploring the wonderful city of Rotterdam

I was very late arriving (due to easyJet…) but my wonderful host just waited up without any bother at all. The boat is in a great location, and being almost 120 years old… it had a real history to it. Breakfast was a crummy

Good, clean, near the center of Rotterdam.

The location is good, near the center where the city's clothing and consumer stores are, also in the area where the ship is, it is possible to see the beautiful Maritime Museum of Rotterdam. Rooms and the place was clean.

The room is a bit cold, so a heating at night would be better, especially from October. It would also be good if the other guests did not make noise at night or very early in the morning, to respect the rest of the other guests.

Definitely recommend for a more unique stay!

Super cool stay! As long as your prepared for a small bed space then the rooms are comfortable enough, we could leave our big luggage in a spare room. We could also store our luggage after check out. In a great location for Rotterdam, about 20 min walk from train station and central to everything else. Shower was small but it worked fine. Sink in room was helpful.

Enjoyed the coziness of the boat and the friendliness of the owners. The location was also awesome.

For a 6’2” person the beds were just a tad short and the showers were tough to maneuver in. I should have expected this given this is a boat but nevertheless got great sleep anyhow.

Right by the maritime museum. An unusual place to stay.

Absolutely great breakfast! We didn't expect so much choice. The boat was great. A sink in each cabin and nice warm showers, toilets.

The bunk beds.... But obviously we knew we were going to sleep on a boat and in bunk beds....

Ship was beautiful but the hosts were more

Breakfast was very good but the best was how helpful the hosts were when helping me with a sprained ankle. The night we arrived, I was starting to feel pain because I had fallen on the street a little while ago. Monique offered some soothing ointements for the night. However the next morning it was worse and I could barely walk. Sipke helped wrap around a bandage that made all the difference and allowed me to get by all day. They also told us about the ship, a real sailing ship and the trips they did in the summers and sometimes with school students. The kids had a great time inside the ship even though there was no wifi:) card games can work too.

Alles was volgens verwachting, een platbodem met style. De sfeer en vertrouwen in het goede van mens maakt het dat je thuis komt op de Sudermar.

Ik vond het heel jammer dat ik naar 1 nachtje al afscheid moest nemen, van de lieve mensen en heerlijk rust aan boord.

Middenin het centrum, gezellig ingericht, avontuurlijk gevoel, echt een authentieke boot. Prima kamertjes. Muisstil in de haven en dat voor een drukke stad

Ik ben 183 en dat past precies maar langer wordt lastig
