Located in a beautiful area with an outstanding view over the lake. The building is adequate, and the staff is very helpful and polite. Mountain trails for walking nearby.

The only thing that could be improved is the dinner, a more traditional restaurant with a menu would be appreciated. But I guess it's the norm for the area.

Location OK, clean and friendly staff, but not good value for money and many little negative aspects

the host however was very friendly and nice so this is the only plus I would rate, and the only reason why I do not rate this location with a lower value.

There were various little aspects which I did not like, I will just mention a few below: - temperature outside during the evening was 7 or 8 degrees Celsius and there was no heating in the room, so at night got chilly, the heating was only ON for about an hour from 18:00 to 19:00 ish then got switched off. - the place is very clean but to be honest quite dated, needs some renovation, rooms were small for (3 people) despite having asked for a quadruple room. - not even a single bottle of mineral water was available in the room, I am not asking for a mini bar but at least a courtesy bottle of water would be appreciated, especially with the prices asked. - check out despite being called an Albergo (Hotel) was at 10:00 AM on a Sunday! Far from ideal for a visitor which intends to sleep a little more on a rainy and cold Sunday morning. - the location is ok although few kilometers away from Madesimo town center. - overall I would rate it to minimum against value for money for Euro. 140 I would have expected a lot more. - breakfast quality was also not as expected, not many choices available (only until 9:30), being at this type of location would have expected more genuine and local choices, it was only canned products and thankfully fresh croissants which were the only positive note.

Location ottima, nella frazione Isola vicino al lago. Vista meravigliosa dalla sala della colazione. Stanza di dimensioni adeguate, con materassi comodi e molto pulita. Siamo stati bene e torneremo volentieri.

L'albergo è molto accogliente, il posto molto carino con la visita del lago. La colazione era molto buono, ci siamo trovati molto bene.

Il posto è molto bello e tranquillo, ma non è nel centro di Madesimo. Bisogna prendere la macchina per andare a Madesimo, non è possibile andare a piedi.

Lo staff è sempre stato ultra gentile e disponibile. La camera era di dimensioni generose e dotata di balconcino molto carino con affaccio sul lago che abbiamo molto apprezzato. La posizione dell'hotel lo rende perfetta per evitare la massa dei turisti a Madesimo e consente un angolo di pura pace

Purtroppo abbiamo condiviso l'hotel con degli ospiti molto rumorosi e poco rispettosi (bambini ignorati e lasciati piangere ininterrottamente, cani lasciati in stanza tutta la sera da soli che non hanno MAI smesso di abbaiare...) che hanno messo in risalto lo scarso isolamento acustico delle stanza. La colazione era abbondante ma non di altissima qualità (dolci per lo più confezionati e il solito prosciutto cotto e formaggio un po' anemici). Un semplice dolce "fatto in casa" sarebbe stato molto più apprezzato. Vera nota dolente è stato il comfort dei letti (singoli uniti senza topper) materassi cedevoli e cuscini "sottiletta"

Hotel a gestione familiare molto pulito. Personale gentilissimo. Ottima location e bella vista.

Dalla nostra camera si poteva sentire lo scarico del WC e della doccia delle camere confinanti - alquanto rumoroso, specialmente in piena notte. Colazione deludente, con quasi esclusivamente prodotti industriali e dolci: biscotti, pastine, yogurt e marmellate, tutti confezionati singolarmente. A parte per dei croissant (freschi) e un buon cappuccino, avremmo potuto acquistare questa colazione al supermercato. È un vero peccato che i prodotti freschi della montagna (latticini, pane, frutta e salumi) non vengono sfruttati.

Het is een klein en dapper hotelletje. Zeer vriendelijk, heel proper, echt de uitbaters weten waar het om gaat. Een echte aanrader, goed gelegen, rustiek en toch voorzien van alledaagse noden. posizione ottima con vista incredibile sul lago di Isola. luogo silenzioso e rilassante. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo ricevuto informazioni utilissime per le escursioni durante il soggiorno.

colazione prevalentemente dolce. avremmo gradito una colazione più varia con prodotti casalinghi e locali. accesso impedito alle parti comuni anche per gli animali da compagnia. mancanza di servizi (non essenziali) come sdraio, bici a noleggio.

Pittoresk en idillisch dorpje, leuk huisje en fijn voor één nacht.

Het ligt na een reeks berg ophangen en afdalingen in een prima dorpje.. niet veel te doen, maar voor een nacht prima. De kamer was geel geverfd. Uitzicht leuk. Je kan niet naar het meertje lopen, dat dachten wij eerst. We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het dorpje. We hadden geen eitje bij het ontbijt verder prima. Wifi was goed.

De badkamer was smal. Niet mijn smaak ofzo. Het hat een klein beetje milde riolering lucht, niet zwaar maar licht. Dat er geen gekookt eitje is, is voor mij jammer, maar de rest was prima.

Das Hotel lag auf meiner Wanderroute und ich wurde sehr nett empfangen. Zimmer und Bad sind einfach ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Die heisse Dusche war wunderbar nach der langen Wanderung. Mein Highlight war das Nachtessen, das die Chefin selbst zubereitet hatte, wie bei „la mamma“. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Frühstück beinhaltete grösstenteils abgepackte Produkte, aber der Kaffee war gut.
