Very minimalist, but everything was clean and working as it was supposed to. Breakfast was excellent, the variety was good but not overwhelming, but the quality of everything from eggs to fruit was absolutely amazing. And the coffee, wow! This might be the best coffee I’ve ever had in Italy - and that’s saying something!
The place could use a makeover and a fresh coat of paint, but that’s purely cosmetics and no big deal.

Bel bel end breakfast sulla strada che porta al passo dello Spluga, in un bel paesino ben servito. Cena abbastanza buona ad un prezzo onesto. Letti molto scododi
Struttura abbastanza vecchiotta e non pulitissima. Il vero problema è stato però il rumore, rumorosissima la sera per via del vicinato e la mattina rumorosa per via delle altre camere

Di strada al passo dello Spluga. Ristorante interno comodissimo. Ringrazio lo staff che ci ha avvisati durante la colazione della chiusura del passo ad una certa ora della mattinata permettendoci di raggiungere la svizzera in tempo.

Good value for money, great food at the restaurant.
The hotel is run by two persons. The chef is very nice, while the other owner is very welcoming.
The rooms are rather small and outdated.
