It s a really authentic home - « dans son jus » as we would say in French (felt like when I went to my grand parents house on holiday when I was small) but it makes it really special. Great location, comfortable beds, large rooms. We were lucky there was the high diving competition - great city of the Soca valley : not too many tourists and easy access to all nearby attractions. Our host outs useful touristic guides in the house which helped us decide where to go and what to do!

The accommodation is truly authentic—it feels just like staying at your grandmother's place during the holidays. It comes as a bit of a surprise at first (it’s not something you see every day), but we fell in love with it very quickly. Even during the heatwave, the house stayed cool. The town of Kanal is picturesque and offers the chance to swim in the Soča River; we took the opportunity to cool off there every day. You can also buy groceries near to the accommodation.
Everything was fine, but perhaps appliances like a microwave or an electric kettle are missing.

no TV, house for 8 people, but cutlery for 6 people, old and damaged kitchen elements, beds creak, no air conditioning...
