Nice restaurant and breakfast is fine

The grass area around the pool and garden had way too many musquitos to sit there, especially for our baby, so we spend a lot of time inside. And the staff was unfriendly to our kids sending them out of the pool as we were not garding them (even though they both have there swimming diploma's) Grandma is trying, but the place needs some love. Overall disappointing.

Great place to stay and just simply relax close to the nature

This was the best place where we stayed in the last years. First of all, the hosts were incredibly nice, welcoming and easy-going. We could easily communicate in English and in German as well, they quickly fulfilled all our wishes, offered help with everything and they always had a minute for us whenever we needed them. The accomodation itself shares the place with a restaurant (also ran by the hosts and their family) where we had a very delicious dinner. The breakfast was also nice and sufficient for a great start of the day. We loved the big backyard with its several desks and chairs, canopy tents, swing seat, sunbeds and even with a large pool. And it was great to make friends with the goats living in the end of the yard, especially for our dog. :) Our apartment was big with a comfortable bed, the A/C worked well, you could always retreat there from the heat outside. The location was a perfect starting point for different destinations each day (assuming that you arrived by car). At the end of our stay we even got a small present from the hosts, our stay will definitely remain a remarkable experience for a long time. Grazie mille, Linda e Gianfranco!

Det ekte Italia. Trivelig og upretensiøst, egnet for barnefamilier. På landet og nær så mye mye mer.

En "Agroturismo" er et sted gjerne ute på landet, familiedrevet, ofte med sjarm av slekters gang. Vertskapet er svært hyggelige og imøtekommende. Borgovecchio har alt dette, i tillegg til mange dyr, hunder og katter oppholder seg blant gjestene og ellers er det gårdsdyr. Herlig seng. Jeg stortrives i slike familiære miljøer. Maten i tavernaen er utmerket, lokale tradisjonsrike retter som gjenspeiler årstiden. Frokosten er upåklagelig. Lokale innbyggere gjør det ekte og trivelig. Lett å komme i snakk med folk om man kan språket. Med bil kan man nå veldig mange severdigheter, havet, koller og til og med Dolomittene litt lenger unna, historiske byer, kultur på Unescos verdensarvliste, shopping, Slovenia. Bil er en forutsetning.

Lyset i husene er ofte noe mer dempet i Italia, i Norge er vi vant med overflod av lamper og watt.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, Auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Sehr familienfreundlich.Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden vom Friaul, nicht weit von Meer entfernt. großer sauberer Pool, gepflegte Außenanlage trotz Unwetter mit Folgen.

Sehr schönees familiengeführtes Hotel auf dem Land

Gianfranco,Linda sowie der Rest der Familie sind echt liebenswerte Menschen, und sehr sehr tolle Gastgeber. Wir waren etwas mehr als eine Woche hier zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gastfreundschaft wird im Borgovecchio sehr groß geschrieben und jeden Tag aufs Neue gelebt. Von hier aus ist man schnell in Grado, Triest und anderen tollen Städten. Die Anbindung zur Autobahn ist super, aber auch die mautfreien Strecken sind durchaus angenehm zum Fahren. Das Zimmer kann man sehen wie man mag, es hat eben den italienisch, dörflichen Charme. 🤭 Die Auswahl zum Frühstück passt gut zum übrigen Flair des Hauses, für uns braucht es aber auch nicht mehr. (Außer vielleicht etwas mehr frisches Obst für das Müsli.)

Wenn man lange genug sucht, findet man sicher was zu Meckern, haben aber nicht danach gesucht. 😉

eccezionale location e posizione strategica

Linda e Gianfranco sono due persone veramente accoglienti e disponibili , il loro staff eccezionale , compresa la cucina di cui oltre alle abbondanti e variate colazioni , fanno anche la cena e noi ne abbiamo quasi sempre usufruito in quanto la qualità era molto alta ed il prezzo giusto . Camere pulite , L'ambiente è molto familiare , tant'è che è frequentato nell'ora dell'aperitivo anche dalla gente del posto . Posizione strategica per visitare il Friuli e le sue città e luoghi di interesse piu importanti . Dimenticavo che una sera sono venuti a suonare una band friulana ed è stato molto divertente e aggregante .

Wir hatten eine herrliche Basis-Station, das Gut ist schön gelegen, die Vermieter super freundlich. Der Pool erfrischend, das Frühstück reichlich. Vom Ort aus fährt man nur 30 Minuten nach Grado oder Udine, oder zum schönen Schloss Duino. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Traumhafte Unterkunft

Perfekte Lage zu den Städten Udine, Triest und Görz. Fahrradwege quasi ab der Unterkunft, man muss nur wissen wo es los geht. Hier wurden uns auf Nachfrage sofort sämtliche Routen ausgedruckt und mitgegeben. Wahnsinnig nettes Familienunternehmen, jeder hilft mit. Gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück ( Marmelade , Honig, etwas Süßes, Müsli, Ei, Käse und abwechselnd Salami, Schinken, Mortadella). Das familiengeführte Restaurant bietet fantastisches Essen. Wir hatten ein Apartment (5) - alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet ( zwei Kochplatten, Kühlschrank, Küche komplett). Danke für eine wundervolle Woche!

Es gibt nichts worüber man sich beklagen könnte.
