Agriturismo Mulino Delle Tolle

My room was spacious enough and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. Soundproof windows. Free parking. Easy to find, close to highway, and to Cervignano and Grado. Breakfast served outside.

My check-in was done in haste, very impersonal, somebody just gave me the key and told me where breakfast will be served. I expect this in a hotel, but in an Italian agriturismo the hosts usually greet you kindly, help with lugagge, accompany you to your room and show you around, so that was a bit of a disappointment. There is a restaurant in the courtyard, just in front of the building where rooms are, and people were still talking and laughing well over 1 a.m. I had to sleep with AC on and windows closed and then it was ok. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:30, I arrived at 8:30 and there was no ham and no bread left and only 2 small pieces of cheese. When I asked, they brought more ham and some pre-packed bread. All in all, I did not feel welcome there, but perhaps it's just my experience.

The garden was great.

Beautiful place with great breakfast!

We were hoping for a good wine and food experience, but the restaurant was closed for the entire stay, and the place seemed in holiday mode with few guests and we did not get the wine tasting. Busy road on one side and train tracks on the other, so would choose another place next time as you had to drive for everything.
