Small sized room, as part of an house. Clean

Location was ok

Room was a little dark. Converted garage. Cold because of time of them year. Broken heater, reported without response. Nose from within the house, late at night. Adequate space. Ok for a short stay

Very convenient, tidy, spacious and comfortable

Very handy and in a good location to the train station. Very quiet area which is nice and any issues I had were rectified the same day. Monica and her family were so helpful with recommendations about things to do and where to go get some good food.

A Nightmare…..

Nothing

Converted garage….Broken blinds at door and window. No curtains. Dirty, dusty window sill. Dust all around the skirting boards. Bedding was creased and just looked awful. The bed was hard and creaked. We only sat on it. You could hear every word being spoken in the room above and talking next door. In the description it said there was an oven, but only a portable hob and microwave. We wanted to use the oven. Generally in an unkempt condition. We are frequent travellers using booking.com and therefore very surprised as this accommodation is rated 8.4 Needless to say, we did not stay the night and very happily stayed in the local Travelodge 10/10.

Superb

The location was perfect. Convenient for my work at Marchwood Power Station and next door to a friendly pub that does good food. The room was cleaned regularly and even provided cleaning products, i.e. toiletries, laundry products, etc, etc.

Great home from home.

The kitchen has a microwave, mini hob, fridge and mini freezer for preparing and storing your own food. The shower has decent power. The bed is comfortable but be aware that it’s a double up against a wall so might be a challenge for couples. Good choice of TV channels and very pleased to find a fan in the cupboard. Most welcome in this hot weather. Great sized towels too! Monica also provides tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk.

Had everything I needed and had a peaceful night.

Very cute and cosy place to stay. Had everything I needed for a night. The hosts were easily contactable when one of the bulbs was flickering and came to replace it quickly. They had also turned a fan heater on for my arrival which was much appreciated and needed on a very chilly night! TV was good with Virgin Media installed so able to watch catch up and not just terrestrial TV like in a lot of other properties.

Nothing, would definitely stay again!

a perfect spot to rest before moving on to a new vacation spot. only £14 taxi ride, Uber is also available.

well designed for usability. well supplied. very clean, nice toiletry selection. easy to find. just steps from a very good pub, with friendly service and customers. unexpectedly quiet for a high density area, no disturbances at all. easy place to recover from relocating to a new vacation spot.

no snacks, so we couldn’t get a breakfast together. but milk was left for our use, with tea and coffee.

The bed is too soft, but this is just personal preference really, we prefer hard bed and also me and my fiance both "big" people so the bed a bit small for us.
