The Acorn Hideaway

• Delightful, secluded location surrounded by woodland. • Friendly owner who greeted me on arrival and opened gates for me on departure. • Modern attic conversion with excellent kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, plenty of cutlery/crockery etc, washing machine, fridge) • Nicely appointed lounge/diner area with sofa, table & chairs, large TV etc • Good bathroom with excellent shower • Cosy, snug bedroom area comfortable with metal frame double bed, wooden drawers, bedside cabinets, HUGE TV and Ottoman. No wardrobe but hanging pole and hangers was fine. • Good size towels and plenty of mini milk cartons provided in fridge plus instant coffee etc, though I took my own. • Plentiful sockets for chargers, laptops etc. • Very good Wi-Fi

• No air conditioning in what is the hottest summer the UK has ever experienced. • The two enormous TVs connect to Amazon Fire – couldn’t work out how to just get live, ordinary terrestrial channels, but this is a minor point.

The place is located in the beautiful and quiet area ✨️ The ower was very friendly and welcoming 🙏🏻

Location.

The place smelt of cooking on arrival, the matress was comfortable but the bed frame was noisy and squeaky every time you turned. The sounds from the next door owners were clear and disrupting. Dog barking on occasion and footsteps on the flooring and TV noise from above. Overall ok but not value for money.

It is in a beautiful area. Very quiet and private. Also beautiful

Totally remote. You must have a car to stay here. It is over a mile to walk to the nearest pub which is not open for breakfast
