Everything was perfect, would definitely go back!

Loved everything, a hidden gem. The food, the staff, the rooms, the hotel building, the peaceful neighborhood - everything was perfect. Great location too if travelling by car: close to Leiden, the beach, well connected to the highway to visit other cities too

Although we slept very well and it was overall rather quiet, any noise in the staircase can be heard in the room. Could be a problem for people with light sleep.

Lovely building in nice setting by the canal/river. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Very comfortable and well appointed room.

Slightly awkward to find as in the middle of housing estate with very narrow roads. Sat nav required ideally. Need to drive to get to range of evening restaurants as only breakfast supplied but this was very good.

An unexpected touch of luxury at a reasonable price.

Beautiful renovated villa in a quiet location, tucked down a lane, right beside the river. The room was huge, beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The shower room was also enormous, with lots of fluffy towels and every convenience. Breakfast was lovely and very well presented. The honesty fridge was very welcome as we needed a drink after a long and stressful day. The welcome when we arrived was wonderful and we were given lots of help to store our bikes securely, along with a recommendation for somewhere to find dinner. We also love the social enterprise principals of this place.

A genuine warm-hearted welcome from a dedicated team.

We very much appreciated our upgrade to the tower room - a spacious modern room with view of the river. Thankfully there was a lift available as the stairs were a little narrow and a challenge with luggage to carry. Comfortable beds. A large modern bathroom. A warm-hearted welcome from the staff - a truly motivated team. Peaceful location at the end of a residential area of the town. The location worked very well for our purpose. A super breakfast.

We liked everything. Hope to stay again on a future visit.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was a big and cozy. Bathroom was also great with an excellent shower. The only less common thing was the breakfast time, as we were told to come between 8:30 and 9:00. It was ok for us, of course, just a bit uncommon. Also, the view from the breakfast area is awesome.

There is nothing much I can say about issues. Maybe the fact that since the building is old, it is a bit 'creaky' at times, but manageable.

Bcz of corona there was no room service and thus no cleaning during our s’weeklong stay . Since I’ve dust allergy’s I became terribly sick which is a pity bcz the hotel is really nice and the stuff is friendly .
