Had a great in Katwijk!

Good location, but disappointing stay.

The location is really good, close to the beach and restaurants. Relatively good price of the overall stay.

In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off. There was no fire, it just malfunctioned. We had to stay outside for about an hour in the rain with a small kid. After that we couldn't fall asleep anymore, the whole next day was ruined and we didn't receive any apologies or compensation —not even an offer for a free breakfast. Another issue is the shower door:it didn't close properly, and eventually, big puddles appeared on the floor. The street was quite loud in the evenings and during the first part of the night. And finally, an extremely slow lift. I bet you could finish a whole book chapter while going from the ground to the second floor.

The street was extremely loud until very late in the night. The shower did not work properly The check in is inconvenient, because you cannot park until after check in, but there is no parking near the check in site

Not a hotel

Large suite. Good for holidays.

First, this is not a hotel, and it’s not good for business travel or travel with family or children. Reception closes at 6pm, this is very early. You can still get your key from the lock and call, but you’re on your own. Then, after spending time finding a place to park in the street and paying, the envelope with the key says that the room is in a different location. Take the car again, park by the beach. The location is not bad but no one around and no place for breakfast. Why is it called a hotel ??? VERY unconvenient for business travel.

Very good experience with this hotel.

Very good place for holidays with family. Only a few minutes to walk to the beach. You can get useful Information aboutthe hotel and surrounding Area from an App. Good experience. You can also get a parkcard of a park house for 30 Euros for one week.

The light in the room is not very good. Maybe it is enough for adults but a little dark for kids. Besides, the internet is not always stable and fast.

Apartment was well serviced and centrally located. Close to beach, excellent underground parking nearby, bakery and supermarket close by. Variety of other shops to hand.

Unfortunately there was no short term parking next to the building to allow for loading and unloading on arrival/ departure. No fault of the apartment was the late night/ early hours noise generated by the cafe/ bar Branding across the road.

Very convenient close to the sea, nice breakfast.

It is a "hotel" where the rooms are in nearby houses. An everything is only 1 min from the seaside. Ours was on ground floor and sous-terrain, but the sous-terrain room was a huge and positive surprise. Brand new design, very comfortable and silent.

Lovelty studio close to beach/ shops / restaurants

The studio we were in was roomy. Lovely to have a table to sit at and a fridge & microwave. Breakfast was fab.

Could do with a curtain on the long window or across the door between the bedroom and kitchen. Otherwise perfect.

Great value apartment in the town centre with small annoyances

The apartment felt larger than advertised (the description talked about 40 sqm, but it felt more spacious on the two floors). The central location made everything easy to reach also on foot (grocery store - 1 minute, beach - 5 minutes). The parking with the card (via the reception) is very convenient and of a great value (7 Eur per day). The whole rate, considering the alternatives, was very competitive. Comfortable beds for 5 person, also equipped with a kitchen... There's also a usable sized patio with chairs and tables.

The apartment is fully set up for 5 person (5 beds) - but the cutlery is not complete, the 5 guests can't eat the same time as there were just 3 forks and not enough dishes, either. Small detail, wouldn't cost a fortune to mend - I'm sure it will be sorted soon. The shower doesn't have a door or a proper splash barrier, so when taking a shower, the bathroom is kinda flooded. In bits and pieces one can find traces of lackluster maintenance - but these doesn't influence the quality of the stay. We missed the oven or at least a microwave from the kitchen, with kids these would be nice additions. It's a little bit strange to share a patio with 4 other guests, but at the end we didn't bother each other.

Perfect location and very stylish rooms

Located close to the sea in a shopping street with lovely shops and cafes. Suite design is very stylish and practically featured kitchen. Good space and friendly staff! Perfect time for us and again any time.

Nice location & room but didn't match the photos.

The location was super nice, so close to the beach. Parking in the parking garage around the corner. (If you use their website to order it is free). Breakfast, which was take out, was delicious. The room had a wonderful big table, nice for take outs, and a small outside place. Beds were nice. Bathroom was fine.

The photos on booking did not at all match the room (rooms were less cozy, but fine). Didnt like that nobody (no hotel staff) cleaned the shared kitchen or emptied the bin. Empty take out stuff was stacked in front of our door. We had a room with shared kitchen, we stayed two nights and because of covid we ordered food. However the bin in the kitchen was small, so both ours and our neighbors take outs didn't fit at all. (The first night we took out our trash ourselves, to have more space, coming home to see the neighborhood didn't)

the coffe cups were dirty, with stains of tea. be careful! i will wash them in the washing machine before using them. bring ur own handwashing soap because what they have is very bad and diluted

Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is very close to the see as well as the centrum of Katwijk.
