Wonderful barn conversion on a farm overlooking fields and Hay Tor in the distance.
Extremely peaceful. Accommodation outstanding. Everything that you could need and more. The owners were friendly, very approachable but respectful to our privacy.
We loved having the animals close by.
Chagford is approximately a mile away dowm country lanes. The town is lovely, with independent shops.
There was nothing that could be improved. Fantastic place to stay.

This was a lovely, well equipped spacious clean property. It was in an ideal location for exploring Dartmoor. The nearby village stocks basic goods but has good bakers shops. The property itself has a lovely feel to it, along with plenty of character. The kitchen dining area is well resourced with appliances and extremely spacious with one of the longest dining tables I have ever seen. There are walks on the doorstep so no need to drive. There are lots more walks within 15 minutes drive. Lovely feathered visitors in the form of hens and guinea fowl.

The setting is wonderful. As a resident of anonymous commuter suburbia it’s hard to imagine there are serene out-of-the-way places like Chagford so close to home.
Interior was nicely renovated: warm, spacious bedrooms, good cooking & dining facilities.
Easy access to local shops - 2 minute drive to reach a butcher (only open 4 days a week); delicatessen and most importantly a wine shop.
Nothing that detracted from our stay; I recommend that the owners sharpen their food prep knives!
