Good place to stay, a lot of place and easy to reach city center by car.

It's a really big place with plenty of space. The kitchen is nice and has all the necessary equipment for cooking. The appliances aren't new, but they work well, which is good. The neighborhood is pleasant and feels safe, and you can park a car outside. There is a spacious bathroom and two separate WCs. The bed is pretty comfortable. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The first-floor windows are a bit drafty and outdated. Also, the bathroom drain needs to be cleaned.

We had to buy our own towels. You have to pay for bed linen separately. The deposit you pay is only said on the day of arrival instead during booking. The place wasn’t clean we had to clean ourselves.

Comfortable house, Towels + bedding extra charge

The apartment was quite spacious, in a calm neighbourhood, and it was easy to park the car. Especially good for large families so everyone can have their own space. Communication with the host was fast and clear.

After booking the accommodation, I received a message stating that bedding and towels were not included in the price, which I found quite surprising. In over 10 years of using Booking.com, this was the first time I encountered this. It was apparently mentioned in a subsection of the "Important Information," but I usually rely on the main description (my oversight). Still, it's quite unusual and inconvenient not to include basic items like these. The extra charge of €15 per person for bedding and towels also seems excessive. We were driving from the Netherlands and were able to bring our own, but in most cases, that wouldn’t be possible, and the additional cost would be significant. I strongly suggest mentioning this clearly in the main description going forward. Upon arrival, we found that bedding was already provided. When I asked, I was told it was a mistake and that we could use it without extra charge. Still, it had already caused some unnecessary hassle. Additionally, there was a €300 deposit that we were only informed about after booking. This should also be communicated more transparently. Regarding cleaning: if you don’t leave the place in the exact same condition, there’s a €50 cleaning fee. Even on Airbnb, such fees are typically included. We only stayed one night and cleaned up ourselves, although not all necessary cleaning supplies were provided. It’s unclear whether cleaning is done by the hosts at all between stays.

ECONOMICAL FLAT NEAR THE ATOMIUM

A very pleasant flat in the Wemmel area. Spacious and well equipped. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Catch the 240,241,242, 243 from the King Baudoin metro station at the end of Line 6. Economical. Near to the atomium and park areas.

Steps may make it a poor choice for the less active.

Satisfied stay!

Very comfortable apartment, clean and well equipped. Easy to get to the city. The best is the staffs - they're very friendly and helpful. They provide needed info including recommendations of restaurants, bus lines, overnight parking. It was a nice and satisfied stay for us.

Nice but cold.

Nice location, quiet neighborhood but close to supermarkets and services. Collecting the keys took us a while. The Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.

The flat was super cold ALL the time, we asked to the host how to use the heating system and, even though we followed the instructions and setting it at 20°c it NEVER reached that temperature, so we were freezing. It was terrible. The highest temperature we got was 18°c, but ironically, the day we check out, it finally worked. So we were warm 2 hours before leaving. Also, the lighting wasn't working properly, the light of the kitchen/dinner room was on and off, in general the flat was dark.

Wonderful place, beautiful memories, going back again in near future

Spacious, easy access to town, we felt safe in the neighbourhood, all amenities was around us in a 2 minute walk distance which was a bonus, we had free parking all day and the area is close to many tourist attractions. I highly recommend this property to anyone is looking for a nice and quiet place to stay in Belgium.

Seriously?

I want my money back! Don`t book this if you not ready to pay for fake photos. Everything looks much different. This appartment is not clean at all. Very dusty. Owner is not cleaning after previous hosts. I saw alcohol and fat spots everywhere. And something else probably too... Also smells very unfresh. My vacation was absolutely ruined and no one gave me my money back. I wasted my time, my energy to try having any compensation. Booking.com could manage only 50 euros back. So owner took 83 euros and i even didnt live there. Cause as soon as i saw the place where i should live - i started to look for another one. Also owner told support after my complain that he personally showed me appartment before and i agreed to live there, which is not true. So be aware people. This is not worth it, better spend your money on another accomodation.

Quiet location but the stairs were too small for the luggage.

Quiet location to walk around in a wonderful neighborhood. The apartment has a nice size and was well lightened.

Could not get the microwave to work and the smoke on the ground floor smelt in the apartment. The stairs were too small to carry the pieces of luggage to the third floor.

Away from busy Brussels, yet easy to get into the city centre

Nice and quiet area with easy access to supermarket and bakeries nearby. When the sun is out the roof terrace is a big plus.

Some of the cutlery and plates were dirty. Someone smokes in the building and you can smell that in the apartment.

Good sized apartment. Good kitchen facilities. Great location. Quiet, even though it was on relatively busy road. Good communication & easy to find.

Checking in and out should have been contactless. There was no need for someone to be there to hand keys over. A key safe and instructions would have been much better.
