Very cute B&B that had everything I needed for my stay! Convenient location, down the road from Bunratty Castle. The hosts were great and gave me recommendations on where to go and what to do to help with my trip! I ended up hiking Diamond Hill, thank you for the suggestion!

Worth the Price

The location was perfect for an early flight from Shannon. The female host was super and gave great restaurant recommendations. The price was very cheap, so essentially we got a fair deal for the quality level received. The location was also great for seeing Limerick and Ennis area.

The bed was too small (double), the mattress was not comfortable, the toilet ran long, the breakfast was unavailable for early travel, there were small flying bugs in the room (no bites), the TV was tiny and had only the most basic channels without the ability to cast from our devices, and the furniture was 1970s or 1980s cheaply made. It was like staying with an aunt, a very nice aunt. I would stay again to catch an early flight or if I was on a very tight budget.

Amazing property

Everything was perfect. The breakfast was amazing. Couldn't fault the property at all. Penny is a gem❤️ Made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend. Walking distance to Bunratty castle. 20 minute walk from bus stop into Limerick.

it is not a very pleasant place to stay, and we will never go back if we ever make it to Ireland.

The property was beautiful

Penny wasn’t the most pleasant with my husband. He felt like she didn’t like him. both the men wanted to have a beer before they turned in for the night and they needed a bottle opener and she would not give them one. My husband got locked out of the house. She said she doesn’t lock the door until around 11 o’clock, he’s calling my cell phone going on 11 because she locked him out of the house. She kept asking him if he was OK just because he wanted a beer. He was not drunk. he was not a belligerent or anything. And she told him he needed to go to bed. My husband is 65 years old. He doesn’t need someone to tell him when he needs to go to bed. We want to enjoy sitting outside and looking at the beautiful view but we were not able to. we had to take off our shoes because her carpet was kind of white and that’s fine, but the carpet was filthy already put rugs down or shampoo. The carpet before you ask someone to remove your shoes for which we didn’t have a problem, removing our shoes it was just the fact that she acted like the carpet was nice and clean.

Beautiful property and home. The owner couldn't have been nicer and she cooked a great breakfast for us the next morning!

The only suggestion I would make is that she put a small desk top fan in each room to keep the air moving.

I had an absolutely lovely time staying at this beautiful home. The house itself is cozy, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, truly a perfect place to unwind. The gardens and location are stunning and clearly well cared for, adding to the peaceful, picturesque atmosphere. A special mention goes to the host, who was nothing short of fantastic. Her hospitality and thoughtful touches really elevated the entire experience and made the stay feel extra special. If I’m ever back in the area, I would rebook in a heartbeat. Highly recommend—10/10!

This is a top shelf B&B. The hosts are very nice and will arrange taxis if needed.

The hosts Penny and Kevin are real welcoming. Kevin gave me a ride to the village and recommendations. This is a beautiful property. Extremely clean, comfortable, great view. The full Irish breakfast was terrific. Penny was very hospitable.

If allowable by the village, a sign near Durty Nellies would be helpful and distance from the main road if you are walking.

Couldn’t have been more delighted with this place for our last night in Ireland!

Dunnaree is an easy 10 minutes from the Shannon airport. A great place to land if you are arriving in Ireland or departing from it. Clean, comfortable, with a great breakfast, beautiful grounds, showers en suite. If you are planning to visit the Bunratty Castle and folk Park or attend the medieval feast it is the perfect place to stay.

What a gorgeous place to stay!

The house and room were just beautiful. Beautifully appointed, lovely linen, fragrant towels, great breakfast. The host was friendly and welcoming. We’d had a long day driving and this was wonderful to come home to. It is in a lovely quiet location with Bunratty Castle just up the road. There are some fun pubs in the vicinity as well. I would return to Dunaree B&B in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely albeit brief stay.
