Friendly staff, comfortable room, huge breakfast offer! Perfect location very close to Shannon Airport and Bunratty Castle.
We could have done with a bit more space to store luggage in the room.
Breakfast from 8-9 only is a bit early when you're on holiday and it means everyone turns up at the same time. When we arrived at the breakfast room there weren't any tables available for us so we had to wait.

The Bunratty Castle Mews was a pleasant surprise at the end of our three-week vacation in England and Ireland. Upon discovering the proximity to Shannon airport and Bunratty Castle, we decided to end our trip here rather than travel from a longer distance for our midday flight. This was, by far, the best “close to the airport” overnight we’ve had. The proprietors were lovely as was the plentiful breakfast. They even called a local cab to the airport for us on our final day. Our trip to Bunratty Castle and Park was surprisingly worthwhile. We expected it to be a bit hokey, but it was not. Our final Irish dinner at The Creamery was good too.
The facility shows its age a bit, but it was homey and clean. The 0.7 mile walk to town was sketchy with cars whizzing by at 60+ kms per hour with no shoulder. Would not recommend this.

Breakfast is outstanding. The grounds are beautiful. Fancy.
Rooms are small. Your knees hit the sink when on the toilet. Owner bent over backwards for my infirmed mother but was downright rude to my wife and I. Heard “not my problem” several times. Her husband was kind.
