We had an amazing time! We toured the grounds, did the falconry class ( A do not miss!) even on a dreary two day holiday found it to be the nicest place we've ever stayed with regards to the staff , decor, layout and just the whole experience !

Hotel room large and well appointed. Slightly let down by bathroom which although a good size was a bit basic and only had overhead shower (no handheld attachment). The bathroom and main room were both quite dark so not good for putting on make up etc. Also no full length mirror (only a tiny one in bathroom and small dressing table mirror). Having said that it didn't spoil the trip in any way! Breakfast good quality and staff really pleasant. Did not eat in main restaurant but walked to the clubhouse and ate in 'carriages' (3 minute walk). Food quite pricey but really good quality and service. Also enjoyed the turndown service and chocolate on the pillow!

Was fantastic, location and stile but the hotel is very outdated, in our first night no good tv channels because the TV was not digital and they replaced on the second night for a good one but 50% of my stay was ruined, no counter top in the bathroom no space what so ever no amplify mirror and so on, they are going to close for 18 months to update, for now it is to expensive for what it is

Started off bad--turned to wonderful. We drove from Dublin to Adare. Driving in Ireland, as an American, is pretty nerve-racking as it is, and when we got to the Manor late we were told our king room that we'd booked wasn't available. We were told because we'd booked through Expedia and not directly through them that nothing is guaranteed. We went across the ocean to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and this wasn't acceptable. The Manor made up for the debacle by giving us an enormous, gorgeous suite the following night and putting is on their "VIP" list.

Outstanding staff. Beautiful hotel and grounds are stunning. Could use a little updating in spots, but as we understand, the hotel will be closing in Jan. 2016 for up to two years for renovations. Wonderful experience all the way around.

Outstanding comfort, beauty, sleep, bedding, atmosphere. It is a well deserved rating of 5 stars. The grounds are gorgeous, with a delightful view around every corner. Fantastic golf course with one of the best closing holes I have seen. Restaurant good for breakfast, casual dinner next door at the Carriage house. Special mention to Remus in the Carriage House- prompt, professional service with a smile

The Adare Manor is quite an impressive property. I couldn't help comparing it to Downtown Abbey. From reception to check out, through meals and walking the grounds---everythijhng was first rate.

The rooms are all so beautiful and the grounds so manicured. Very stately property along a river and stunning golf course. Enjoyed the eight course dinner with the paired wines in the upscale restaurant. Beautiful memorable evening. Read the story of Adare Manor for a walk back in time. Found some great gifts at the Adare Heritage Center in the village not far from the Manor.

Adare Manor oozes gothic gorgeousness! Set in truly beautiful grounds, the manor is beautiful, comfortable and offers beautiful views. We were able dine by candlelight, from a choice of gourmet menus. Breakfast was lavish, and delicious. Open fires make this grand house cosy and welcoming. I was given a warm welcome by the gracious, talented staff. Huge thanks to all of them. Flowers and champagne appeared in my room, from the excellent manager. The dietary needs of guests are made a priority. I was given outstanding care, all with Irish flair and charm. I cannot wait to go back.

I don't understand how anyone can give this a 5 star. The hotel was in need of an overhaul. It looked like it was last renovated in the 80s. There was something black growing over the window. 5 times were loose in the bathroom. Crack chipped walls. We heard they are doing a complete renovation. The grounds are beautiful snd the staff is great. But don't waste 500 a night on this place until it gets redone.

The staff was very welcoming and gracious. The activities, golf, hawk walk and swimmming were fantastic. The grounds and hotel are stunning and Adare is a lovely village. And, all was surprisingly very kid-friendly.

Fabulous room & view from room, location, grounds, all staff, golf course - main restaurant was not good enough in both poor service and food quality - eat at 1826 just outside the grounds. A pity the pool was closed otherwise really enjoyed a great stay.
