Good for short stay

The location is close to the city centre and train station, cozy room with few welcome snacks, comfortable bed and the heater worked very well.

The shower wall had a dent, but we didn't use it anyway. There were two taps; one dispensed very cold water, the other one very hot water; there was no middle ground, which was annoying.

Close to the city centre. Great price for a one night for 3ppl.

No soundproofing. Can hear walking around. Bit chilly inside the room. The machine in the room makes more sound. More toiletries

Great value, very hot room, great shower, springy mattress, fixtures quite tired but would stay again

Location was perfect for getting to the station and also the pubs and bars that end off the city as literally a 5/10 min walk. It was nice and quiet and the staff member was very friendly and helpful. Also the shower was very good for me!

The room was very hot with the radiator very hot. I was unable to turn it down so albeit that it is winter, for me it was way too hot and even with the two little windows open I pretty much slept on top of the bed covers. The mattress was very springy so I think it may have been quite old as were some of the fittings but because of the very good price tbh I can’t complain - I would stay again!

The room was clean, provided towels, was lovely and warm and the bed was comfortable. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Great value

Much overpriced

Good location, kind staff

Far too expensive for the value, massive mark-up because of the rugby match that night so feels like sponging off people's lack of choice. Old flimsy furniture with items left by previous clients, no bedside table, dirty floor, creaky shower cabin, faulty ventilator and blind falling off the tiny window. Seems like no one has looked in/cleaned in there for a while even though, in fairness, the sheets and towels were changed

The website stated there was a car park. We spent over an hour trying to park as there was no car park. No breakfast available even though the website offered breakfast.

Great place, poor staff

Location

Property tried to charge us extra, had already paid on booking.com and had a message when at an event saying I owe another £105. Had a wait at reception when we returned and had to sit for 5/10 minutes waiting even though I had confirmation.

The location is very good, very close to the train station and the castle. You can do everything on foot.

I had problems with my room on the first night. I booked a single room and the heater was broken, making the room absurdly hot. There was no way to turn it off and it was very hot. I asked at reception to change rooms and the attendant said it wasn't possible and suggested I use a fan. It was one of the worst nights of sleep. PLEASE FIX THAT HEATER. The next day, thank God, one of the receptionists took pity on me and changed my room.

The staff were so nice and so friendly. Nothing was wrong with the hotel was right for the amount of money we spent.

The floor in the room were loud and the radiator was too hot that we couldnt turn it off so we had to sleep with the window open, however the road was extremely loud so it was a trouble to sleep

Great value. The room was very clean, beds comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I was able to park my vehicle behind the hotel which was an added bonus.

The NOISE. There is no sound proof whatsoever, I could hear everything said in front of my room. It was very noisy on the corridor even at midnight. It was also very noisy outside as the building is on the main road. I think I was unlucky as there were lots of swearing/screaming outside my window. It was hot so I had to open the window. It was difficult to sleep due to the noise. Everything else was good.

L'emplacement .. situé à 15 minutes du centre.

Lit avec des matelas ou on sent les ressorts. Nous avons passés trois jours dans cette hôtel et le personnel n'est jamais venu chercher nos serviettes. ( Malgré un demande à l'accueil. Un chips datant du dernier grand chelem des Gallois était encore sous le lit. La fenêtre de la salle de bain ne fermait pas.( Pratique en plein mois de février à Cardiff). Il y a une fuite de la douche qui tremper la moquette. Présence de moisissure dans la salle de bain...
