Are you insane Hotels.com? I've had numerous debates with yourselves over requesting a full refund for this hotel booking. THE HOTEL IS CLOSED DUE TO COVID. HOSPITALITY IN WALES IS SHUTDOWN. IVE PAID FOR A SERVICE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED. I AM AND WAS ABLE TO ATTEND THIS HOTEL, BUT IT IS CLOSED. ARE YOU ALL LIVING IN A CAVE OR SOMETHING? ITS CRAZY YOU HAVE SENT ME AN EMAIL TO REVIEW. I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU - HOTELS.COM -ARE ADDING MORE STRESS TO THIS GLOBAL PANDEMIC WE'RE LIVING IN. ITS A NATIONAL EMERGENCY. YOU NEED TO WATCH THE NEWS AND YOU NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR STAFF REGARDING THIS SPECIFIC BOOKING. IVE TOLD YOU NUMEROUS TIMES, IM NOT CANCELLING ANYTHING. Some parts still being refurbished. Good room with clean facilities but very noisy as it was at the front of the hotel. Very good policy regarding food. As they do not have a restaurant you are asked to use their breakfast room if you have a take away and there are plenty of options around the hotel for this. Very friendly staff on the front desk. Parking at hotel is at the back with a controlled gate. If there is no room parking around the hotel is difficult.

The rooms were very basic. The hotel has no lift. But the staff were very helpful and assisted me to carry my luggage up to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was included in the price but very limited.

Fan rattling in night constant dripping noise walls very thin doors banging and TVs playing all night did not sleep at all

OYO hotels had recently taken over this property and have worked hard to redecorate bedrooms and ensuites making it very pleasant to stay there. The outside street and parking area were a little unsightly - but we were in the middle of storm Ciara at the time. Simple 'continental' breakfast - I didn't check if they provided 'full English'.

We had booked two rooms non-smoking. One of the rooms they gave us was smoking so we asked to get moved and there was only one room which was a twin but a kind lady offered her room instead. As we booked this almost a month in advance, I am not sure why we didn't have a non-smoking room. The other room was very dirty the toilet had skid marks but as there were no more rooms we could not be moved. Also there was no hot water for a shower at 10 pm. The hotel was in a great location but unfortunately I would not stay again given the disappointment with the rooms.

A dump. Dirty floors, warped table, thin walls, cracked tub liners from beds are torn, hanging on the floor. No complimentary soap or shampoo. Maybe 1 step above a 3rd world hostel.

Staff were friendly, the room was basic, broken blind, shower door hanging off the runner, tiles were patched together, paint work in bathroom was rough due to no extractor fan, also bin lorry turning up at 5:30 emptying bottles was not something I expected on a Sunday morning. I would never have paid £80 For the stay if I had seen it first. £45 would be the most
