A calm and pleasant stay.

It was in a good location, it was quiet. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, and the food was good. The staff were really helpful too.

For me, the pillows were a little hard, but it wouldn’t put me off staying there again.

3 night . Morning at 1.am Ileft I go home

Salisbury Guest House - free parking I say very poor Salisbury Guest House Cold shower and heating low warm . I feel cold in room . Bathroom too small wash problem . Dark room see window orange flashlight . I hated see . tv poor signal . Cheap coffee jab awful tested I use tea bags . Two black chairs both loose rubbish chairs not comfortable I not good sleep all day and not comfort . I m very poorly catch cold and bad chest . . Friday morning at 3am I go home . I want money back .!! Cold shower and room cold Never back again Salisbury Guest House I will tell booking .com and everybody in facebook

A great place to stay with an excellent restaurant and lovely staff.

The room was perfect - clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed and a very good TV. I had an evening meal in the restaurant. There was an impressive choice of food and it was delicious. The very best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all helpful and attentive. They all seemed to be very happy in their work.

Avoid if you can

key card did not work around check out time. had to come down 3 times to report the same problem before someone came up with us to open with master key. Same with some elderly folks. Staff were indifferent, even dismissive. Sunday breakfast priced at 15 pounds, other days 12. A joke. Not that the buffet breakfast was anything to write home about.

Location good Room function able but no heating only a small convector with digital display but no instructions.on a really cold night the room was equally very cold. Asked for Hinches Cider the bar staff poured a pint from the pump only for us to find Hinches not available any more what we got was a specialist beer "Neck oil" but the staff didn't bother to tell us...poor

The staff should have known that Hinches Cider was not available and to pour a specialist lager in its place was poor.

Convenient location for the overnight stay.

The overall look of the hotel is good.

The £4 per night car park charge is unfair, as you have already paid for your stay at the hotel. The small reception table, which is supposed to be self checkin. This took longer than a normal reception, as the system wasn’t working properly and you needed to use a different screen to pay for the car park. Also, it looked out of place in such a large entranceway.

Very clean. Staff were friendly. Lots of parking. Lovely looking hotel. There was a wedding going on when we were there and it was nice to see everyone dressed up.

Room originally provided was not properly cleaned. Toilet had been used and not flushed. Soap dispenser fell off from wall mounting. Soap dispenser was not filled. There was no hanging rail in room. Soap dispenser in alternative room was also not filled.

when checking in found it quite hard, I don't know if the check in girl was new. breakfast was a nightmare, so much of the food wasn't topped up, however we wanted a takeaway breakfast and a chap and a lovely girl gave us a yogurt and some fruit to take with us.

The hotel itself is lovely.

I was put in the wrong room after upgrading. In the upgraded room the telephone didn't work for room service. Also the younger members of staff in the lounge bar, argue in front of customers and swear while doing it.

The staff were helpful, it was easy to find and quite clean.

The fire alarm going off at 5am. Breakfast was very limited and could have been improved by having scrambled eggs, cheese slices or cold cuts, fresh tomatoes or cucumber available. It was not worth the cost really. Two of three table lamps did not work, this was room 214

Toilets do not flush properly, saggy soft mattresses, toilets on ground floor had no toilet roll, one cubicle was not flushing and was most of them had waste & tissue blocking them. Key cards stopped working even though we hadn’t checked out, no obvious free WiFi

Staff at reception and bar were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable

Breakfast - no one to greet/check who we or anyone after us were. Anyone could have just walked in and eaten. Cooked Food was very dry and tasteless especially the sausages. Staff not clearing plates until very late. Seemed very slow and unenthusiastic- all this mentioned by many guests there that weekend.

So much noise, wasn't able to give us anything as it was mine and my husbands 10 year anniversary. Very poor service. Service has definitely gone down hill. I don't know if I want to stop here again!
