Fantastic!
Absolutely superb, what a stunning hotel. The rooms are stunning, exceptionally clean and very quiet hotel. The breakfast room just stunning, all fresh fruit displayed so nicely. I had a bowl of strawberries with fresh orange juice, followed by Avocado and poached eggs on sourdough, so many choices on the breakfast menu. This stunning hotel is now my go to place 😁

Solo traveller for a night
Staff were very accommodating and gave information on sites to see. They allowed me to park outside the hotel in a space after checking. Great cooked breakfast 😋, actually one of the best hotel breakfast in a while.
It would have been good to know about the possibility of parking directly outside the hotel from before arrival. Luckily though, I only ended up paying for 2 hours parking and opposite the hotel for free.

Really lovely rooms, clean, great location, exactly what I needed. Breakfasts were great, especially the first day. Eggs kind of went downhill day on day but altogether a really good breakfast.
Felt slightly uncomfortable around the owner, acted like I had wronged him in some way. Didn’t make me feel very welcome.

A super stay in a super quality and super friendly hotel.
A fantastic hotel. A super welcome and you can tell how much passion the owner has for the hotel and the enormous effort and hard work they’ve put in over the years. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor, really comfy bed and parking right outside, on site. Lovely breakfast menu too!

The stay was disappointing for the price paid.
Breakfast
The room offered initially was closest possible to reception and above dining and later realised, kitchen. The alternative room which we accepted was better located but the heated towel rail was not working so we couldn't have a shower it being too cold this time of the year. There are about 14 rooms in the hotel it is strange there was not another alternative; the bed was comfortable though. The decor in the hotel is dull and old-fashioned. It was disappointing for the price paid.
