Ideal hotel for a comfortable stopover

We stayed at this hotel because it was conveniently located halfway along our route for our summer holidays. There’s a large parking area with plenty of space, and the hotel is close to the highway; ideal for an overnight stop during a trip. The staff were very friendly and considerate: since we had big suitcases, they offered us a room on the ground floor instead of the second floor (there’s no lift), which we really appreciated. The restaurant at the hotel was good, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety. Overall, perfect for a stopover during a journey.

There wasn’t really anything we disliked. It’s just not the kind of place where you’d spend your whole vacation; it’s more for an overnight stop on your journey, which is exactly what we needed.

Don't miss the turning into the car park

Small kitchen in room. Wee bit dated. Breakfast very nice and reasonably priced Handy position but not well sign posted and if you miss the turn its on to a four mile detour to get back

Great value , welcoming hotel. Early breakfast for travellers.

Good reception staff. Very helpful getting drinks for us that were not immediately stocked. Just off the motorway and perfect for driving from Cote d'Azur to La Manche.

Dinner was definitely not worth the money. The main course which was meat could not be eaten at all. meat that was stringy and could not be chewed. The starter and dessert as well as the bread were good. Next time it will just be salad and bread!

Room very comfortable, clean and good WiFi access. Breakfast excellent as were all the staff we encountered. Convenient to the motorway

Not so much as a dislike but minor disappointment that restaurant was not open during our stay and being a Sunday there was not a lot of alternative choices. This however would not deter our staying again

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than expected. The location is perfect for a stopover.

The rooms are quite small, unfortunately this also goes for the beds. They're just short and uncomfortable, like sleeping on an iron board. Everything is a little outdated too.
