About this house rental
Freshly remodeled super clean and immaculate 600 sq ft Casita with two bedrooms ( 1 Queen , 1 Double ), full bath with glass shower , Full kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, etc.. Air Conditioning, flat panel TV, Cable, WiFi, and the largest private swimming pool in Punta Gorda. Come relax and soak up the sun in a hammock, watch flocks of parrots and other local birds, listen to the nearby Howler Monkeys and enjoy the firefly's at night. Fruit trees and beautiful landscaping in place. This is not a "touristy" destination, this is a private home on a secluded street backed up against the jungle providing you the most private relaxing get away you can get. There is another larger Casita also on the property you can rent at an additional charge for larger parties.
Free on site parking available. Free pick up from local airport, bus terminal or pier. Whether you are looking to visit the nearby Mayan temples, or head out fishing/snorkeling in the Caribbean sea, we have guides, excursions and concierge services are all available as well if needed. Bicycles on property, free for guests use.

The house and pool were very nice. Laura was a goodhost; made sure we had plenty of drinking water and was always available to answer all of our questions. The road to her house is a little rough so be sure to have a vehicle with good clearance. Since we were without a car, we used Ace taxi service. He's a great guy who took us wherever we wanted to go. Be sure to have him take you to the chocolate farm and to the butterfly farm. Just ask ask Laura for his contact number.

Property is ok. Many things needing attending to, but when brought to their attention they got dealt with promptly (e.g. ant infestation, working bicycles). Unfortunately when you want to use the bicycles at 7am and they don’t work, then it doesn’t work so well. Nice quiet location bicycling distance to town, but a dirt road, so after a rain is a bit difficult. Unfortunately, when our plans had to change for a family situation, this is the only place of four unwilling to work with us in any way. Communication was difficult as it was hard to figure out who you talked with about what, the on-site person, the person in the US, etc.
