Relaxing and beautiful

Very quiet, 12 units in total, walking distance to several restaurants at other resorts. Picturesque. The grounds landscaping is lush and if you’re paying attention you’ll see lots of birds, even parrots.

Transportation to Placencia village or Maya Beach requires a taxi or a golf cart rental.

Just ok. Desperately needs updating. Not worth the price.

Very easy to access the keys via a lock box. Good air conditioning. Located in a more quiet location but a 10-15 min drive to the shops, restaurants, and excursions. Some comments mentioned the very high beds, and they were a little challenging to get into, but they were sooo comfy! The veranda with a view of the water and the sound of the fountain out our window were lovely. Nice beach with a dock. The restaurant right across the street is excellent!!

There's a difference between "clean" and "well used". Although this place was certainly clean, it was very well used - scuffed walls, worn out woodwork, tarnished faucets, moldy grout. It's outdated and desperately needs a refresh. Some things just felt gross from long-term use, like the dingy flattened futon in the living room and the dinnerware & utensils (refused to use them!). In addition, it was dark and didn't have enough lighting. The common area was small and awkward, with a tiny wobbly fridge and a burned stove. But what bothered me the most was that of ALL the places we stayed in Belize, this was the only one that didn't provide bottled water - not even one small bottle!! Outside, the pool was nice but not very clean. We enjoyed the beach with dock but there's a new building being constructed next door, so that beachfront is not being cleaned and it's filthy. If you walk on the beach in that direction, you have to contend with walking over that trash, so you have to stick with the other side of the beach. Overall, this place was just ok, and not worth the price being charged for it.

The pool and beach were lovely but the condo itself and Wi-Fi were basic.

The location on the beach was lovely and there was some interesting snorkelling from that beach. The pool was great and the gardens and pool surrounds very nice. There were plenty of places to park and the air-conditioning worked well.

The beds were ridiculously high which made getting onto them extremely challenging. I am 5 foot seven so not short. Once on the beds, they were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was not capable of coping with the numbers it was covering. If there were virtually no other tourists in the condos, we were able to use the Wi-Fi. However there were multiple times for long periods when the Wi-Fi did not work at all all. It was clearly overwhelmed by what was expected of it. This meant that booking trips and googling things to do could not happen for a lot of the time. I was also surprised to find that a two-week holiday did not lead to a change in bedlinen or towels during that time.

A beautiful apartment in an even more stunning location!

We had such a fantastic stay at Beachside Villas. The gardens and pool area are simply stunning and are right next to the beach. The apartment was perfect for our family and we were able to cook for ourselves every night. It was spacious, clean and very well equipped. I was genuinely very sad to leave and would recommend to anyone.

Villa #25 Nightmare

The room and the grounds was beautiful.

No running water upon arrival until 1pm in the afternoon day#2. No air conditioning ,electricity or wifi for most of the day. We were forced to leave the unit for air. No back up generator. No staff on site for assistance or communication. As a person with disabilities,my stay was filled with anxiety. Emailed the property regarding my concerns with no feedback or response to date.

We enjoyed the clean pool and the fact that the beach and seaside are only a few steps away. The facilities were all comfortable and clean.

Check out time is a bit early, perhaps one or two hours would be more delightful.

It was as expected.

It felt cozy and comfy. Enough space to move around without feeling cramped. I also liked the added kitchen area. Great for cooking your own food and save on expenses.

A beautiful and tranquil getaway from the chaos of everyday life.

The property was beautiful and tranquil and very easy to find. The condo was much bigger than I thought it would be which is a plus. Self check-in made it extremely convenient and the staff were very nice and attentive. Will definitely be back!

If I had to pick one thing that needs improvement, I would have to say the wifi connection and speed weren’t that great, especially considering I was there for work.

It was a good experience that has potential to be awesome.

The location itself is really lovely and good layout on the grounds and even the layout of the unit is well thought out. Excellent that is right on the beach. However, I think they could do a better job describing where each unit is located, such as if oceanfront or set behind with a garden view and only sea view or if upper or lower flat as that helps make a choice, especially if you have physical limitations. I like the guy on the grounds try to be helpful. However the units are spacious and it's great that the beds are large and that each room has its own bathroom. it's a comfortable space and great for a family get away. The units are clean and the colours are light and inviting. The kitchen fairly well equipped and had a full stove with oven and basic utensils. Its equipped to allow for preparation of meals and provides the option for indoor or outdoor eating... make your choice!

I did not like that it had too many poor maintenance issues... it may be because it was closed up due to covid, but the host had to go and fully examine and prepare the place beforehand. Too many AC problems and it seems their breakers units for AC needs some serious replacement. The cushions for the beach chairs are too mildewed and look unpleasant and unclean and the beachchair themselves are just too hard and the cushions too thin. There were several plumbing issues and the place needs to be sprayed out for roaches. The Hairdryers needs checking as one blew out while I was using it and I just worry that the maintenance people need to go literally use all electrical items since not even the toasters worked. I hope they take these criticism in good stride and address them. I think the place is so nice that there should be hammocks in each unit and on the beach

Good

It was a quiet location within walking distance to the village. There were multiple restaurant options available within a small radius.

Our stay included 4 people and we were only furnished 1 bath towel for each person during our 7 day stay. We had to request more and then they provided us each 1 more towel. It also would be nice if the property had golf cart options for use. Without phone access it’s important to know that the WhatsApp should be downloaded prior to arrival. Communication proved difficult without this app.
