About this cottage rental
A magical beachfront spot to Catch the breeze and listen to the sounds of the waves in this private belizean cabana 100 feet from the sea. On a natural white sand beach. Bathroom and kitchen with hot water. Best location in placencia.
The space
The cabana is located next to Finca beach house on five acres one mile north of Placencia village. 200 feet of beautiful natural white sand beach are just steps from the cabana. One of the few places without a sea wall. Our property also stretches all the way to the lagoon, where you can kayak and bird watch. There is a small reef 70 feet from the water's edge where starfish, sea urchin and many colorful fish can be found. The water is calm and safe for swimming. The secluded sandy front yard has papaya, almond and cashew trees, coconut, hibiscus and other flowering bushes. Bicycles, hammocks and beach chairs are provided for your enjoyment. Town is an easy 30 minute walk along the beach or a quick bike ride or taxi away.
We built our structures with a respect for the natural landscape and as the peninsula gets more developed, our finca has become a haven for the multitudes of birds that make Placencia their home. The traditional Belizean wooden cabana is located on the beach next door to the beach house. Built on stilts, you can catch the breeze while watching the sunrise from the deck out front. There is a queen bed, futon couch, fully stocked kitchenette and bathroom with hot water shower. Sleeps 4 max.
We provide complimentary bicycles for your use.

Belize is not an island! It borders Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.
Our acommodations are rustic. We have ceiling and standing fans-no A/C.
Occasionally the power and water goes off for an hour or 2 in the village.
60 ft from waters edge in Belize is called queen's land and is public for anyone to walk upon. There are no private beaches in Belize. You may see people walking along the beach.
