A wonderfully artsy and comfortable place to stay!

This is a lovely, artsy space that is just fun to stay in! We enjoyed just relaxing, inviting our local friends to join us for libations before heading out to music. The location is just perfect - quiet street and an easy reach to everything, including the bus station and car parks. The Co-op is just nearby and Aldi's can be reached in a 15 minute walk along the River Dee. We love Llangollen and all the wonderful live music with the most friendly people!

What we did not like? Having to leave our favorite place in all our travels. So, we will be back!

Amazing cottage in the most beautiful location

We loved everything about the cottage. It’s as fabulous as it looks on the photos, the facilities were superb. It’s clean, cosy and we were short of nothing. Our hosts were magnificent and we would definitely stay again. Thank you ❤️

A Visual Delight!

This house is so unusual and attractively decorated with a theatrical theme. Great shower and efficient central heating. Good location, just a 5 min walk to the town centre. Parking permit provided with car park nearby. On arrival, we had a lovely welcome with cake and wine and music playing.

The stairs up to the master bedroom had no handrail which was quite a concern and made it difficult for my mum. The lighting is quite dim in some areas of the house.

Lovely property- full of character and quirky touches! Everything you need for a comfortable stay and very comfortable bed. Situated in a quiet place but lots of friendly locals. Good places to eat and drink nearby. We will go back again.

Fabulous!! Stunning property in a perfect location. Everything you need and more in the property, milk water, cake and fizz to great us on arrival, everything was perfect. Huge four poster bed which was so comfy, property is exactly like the photos, fabulous .

Quirky and comfortable stay.

Quiet location in a lovely quarter of Llangollen with lots of independent cafés and restaurants close by. The cottage is quirky and cosy downstairs with a large master bedroom on the top floor and a large twin room below. We stayed with our daughter who is autistic and were really happy with how safe it felt both inside and the road outside being quiet. The hot water was quick and plenty of it. The owners gave thorough instructions prior to arrival and were quick to answer any queries, they were kind enough to leave cake, milk and wine ready for arrival. We wouldn't hesitate to book another stay in the future.

8 Opera Suites - a cool place to stay.

Very comfortable & clean house, has everything you need. The attention to detail in the decoration is fab! Only a few minutes walk to the centre of town. Hosts supplied a birthday cake, prosecco and balloon for my daughter, which was lovely. Also provided helpful videos on property, how to find it and where to park your car.

Comfortable stay

Very nice place to stay for a family. Location is very good. Very clean and well maintained. Complementary cake 🎂 Comfortable beds. This place would be perfect for Christmas break!

Cons No dishwasher. Not a con but anyone visiting this place be aware this is a one way road so you need to check that on Google maps as we had to do few rounds before finding the correct road to reach this place.

fabulous stay, great hosts, perfect location, still can't pronounce it properly

Everything. Central location walkable to bars and restaurants and the start of our walk. communication from the owners was brilliant with videos explaining everything you needed to know sent in advance., The house is so quirky, beds were comfy, nice small fully usuable kitchen and although we didn't need it, has an impressive fire place. Parking was easy to figure out and the welcome cake was one of the best we have ever tasted!

Nothing, just watch out for google maps as it tried to take us the wrong way down a one way street more then once :)

An absolutely charming cottage in a brilliant location, attention to every detail by the lovely host

Debbie was a wonderful host, the cottage was a delight. We loved the roomy top floor bedroom, so pretty. We will definitely be booking again, and maybe try another of Debbie's lovely themed cottages. Debbie could not have done more to make our stay a success, one of our party is very elderly and Debbie took great care to make sure she was comfortable. The cottage is very well located, we enjoyed the record player and the very imaginative decor.

Nothing could be improved, but the stairs are quite steep as it is a very old ( and lovely) cottage, so maybe take care with that aspect of it if you have a small child or an elderly guest. Obviously this is not a problem for most people.

Clean comfortable home from home in lovely Llangollen

8 Opera Suites was clean, warm, comfortable home from home. Everything you need for a lovely weekend away. Just love this place, the decor is stylish, beds are soooo comfortable. Excellent location, quiet but not too out of the way.

Just lacks a little dust pan and brush, we like to clean up after ourselves. Should have really mentioned it to hosts but were having too much of a good time.

Super for Llangollen stay

Very well organized, the friendly and helpful host even sends videos so you find everything easy. Very clean and tidy, fully equipped and a welcome surprise, like coming home. You are in the center of everything (super market 50 meters for instance) in short walking distance; you get a car park license to park your car a few hundert meters away, you can unload in front of the door. Quiet place.

Lovely cottage in central location

Central location & parking for one car included - free parking for other car was a 5 mins walk. Debbie sent videos of the cottage & of the town in general - very helpful & was around & reachable by phone during our stay for help. Our bed at the top of the house was comfortable with plenty of space & our friends were happy with the 2 single beds in their room. Toiletries provided in bathroom Decoration throughout the cottage needs to be seen to be believed - beautiful!!!

No bins in rooms so we pinched the one out of the living room Lack of mirrors for makeup & also lack of good light. Not enough toilet rolls for 4 adults for 4 days. Duck board in bathroom lethal - very slippery getting out of bath needed to grip grab rail tightly to do so & made the basin too high when needing to brush teeth & wash face. My wife’s foot slipped between the gaps in the board causing her pain as it twisted. Be careful putting refuse in kitchen bin as there is a cupboard immediately above - for a tall person like me, it meant cracking my head at least once. No tongs or scissors in kitchen Also no salt or pepper Plates too big for washing up bowl All Minor niggles apart from the duckboard.

Very good

The host made it very welcoming. Table was set beautifully for Tea time arrival with cake and a bottle of bubbly with some classical music in the background. Our transport were three motorbikes and parking is not readily available in this narrow street but the host in conjunction with one of the neighbors arrange off road parking for us on private property, which they really did not have to. It was so very much appreciated. Thank you so much Debbie and Robert. Llangollen is a beautiful place to visit.

Temperature on the shower was a little tricky to adjust and beds were a little soft for my liking. Did not like the feel of the bedding, but that is a personal thing.
