Great location. Lovely property, comfortable, warm and homely.

There was ample parking. It was clean and tidy. Good communication. The heating system worked really well. Great location, quiet and scenic. Comfy beds. Nice and spacious with lots of bathrooms.

Disappointing

The house was cool, ideal during the July heatwave.

Disappointing on approaching the house; steps needed cleaning. Garden had had minimal strimming and upper garden totally overgrown with brambles, etc. Rusty garden furniture and weeds on the slate terrace, no cushions for the seating. Whilst the provision of recycling bins is commendable, their open style in the middle of the kitchen was very unsightly. Overall amazed at the 9.5 rating??

70th Birthday Treat

The location and facilities were all excellent, check in was easy with all the info provided by hosts.

Small bedroom en-suite had a slight sewer smell? But didn't use the room so not a problem.Maybe just needs looking at? Rooms looking a bit scuffed on walls and ceilings? Just ready for decorating thats all!

So comfortable, beds were fantastic, you tell they were not cheap mattresses. Owners Ian and Yvonne were on the end of the phone 24/7

I would come back here even though there was a few niggly issues .it’s a lovely cottage ,roomy and the owners very oblig

It was very spacious and clean. All instructions were clear and not hard to follow .The views from the windows at the front overlooked a lovely field and hills . It was a quiet area. Two parking spaces tho a bit tight for two cars .

There are steps to get into the house at the back and front so if disabled or not good with steps this could be a problem . There is no garden or grass only a square paved at the back where there’s a storage bin and a path . Not idea for young children To play without supervision. The hot water went go cold a lot it could be boosted for a few mins . So showering was cold at times I found this inconvenient No dishwasher .

Perfect hosts, house and location

The house was absolutely beautiful, and the location even better. It was set in the most beautiful surroundings, just what we wanted. The hosts were fantastic, great communication and information for walks and places to eat. We ended up walking into Llangollen beside the canal, it was so lovely. It was the chilled out break we needed. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect break.

It was an ideal property for a break with friends due to each bedroom having an ensuite bathroom. Kitchen facilities were excellent for self catering but short distance to many places to eat if you preferred that. Peaceful location with beautiful views.

We have had a great week staying at Jasmine cottage.Well equipped and a fab location. The hosts are very engaging to any enquiries fab time.

It's not a dislike but the house could do with a coat of paint in one or two places but that did not effect our holiday at all.

Jasmine cottage great value for a short break.

A very nice cottage in a peaceful setting. Ideally placed to explore North Wales. The Britannia pub is a short walk away as is the Chainbridge Hotel. Both good for food. We really enjoyed our stay and I can recommend it for a short break away. Good value and lovely hosts. Thank you. Best regards. Clive

Only one tea towel? Cottage is beginning to look tired in places and could do with a bit of a re decorate to bring it back to its full potential. From a males perspective, please fit toilet seats that stay up when you need to pee lol.

Great setting, fantastic location, very clean and lots of space. Plenty of communication from Ian and Yvonne, a very good short trip enjoyed by all.

The hot water didn't last too long, so 5 of us coming back at the same time after being in the river all day, the first two had hot showers, the rest of us it was freezing,

Perfect location and the cottage itself is huge, definitely plenty of room to relax in after a day out exploring the stunning countryside. The beds are comfy and each bedroom has an en suite which is very handy.

A great base to stay in a beautiful part of the world.

The space that we had as a family - the kids had their own rooms and bathrooms, there was a place to relax, a place to work and space to cook for all of us. The bike room was great and a lobby to keep wet coats and muddy shoes was very useful.

The only minor niggle was that there wasn't really enough crockery and cutlery, eg only 4 cereal bowls. We were only 4 so no problems, but if the maximum of 7 had been staying, there would have been things missing. It would have been nice to have a bigger coffee pot too.

Exceptional

Every thing was just amazing. We had a great stay with our 2 children and parents. It's spacious and the host was excellent. You won't find a better cottage at this price. The view from the cottage is breath taking, it was good change cooking in the kitchen with a view of the mountains and sheep. Wish we had stayed a bit longer .4 nights were not enough.bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Thank you.
