Overall a great relaxing experience with great views.

Fantastic view and very spacious rooms. Beds really comfortable. Reasonably appointed re equipment.

Boiler very noisy when coming on first thing in the morning. No blind at the main view window which meant glare on most seating - but it was the winter low sun. Instructions on equipment needed.

Brilliant what more can I say

The setting was outstanding cottages very very well equipped everything you could possibly want was we were a family group and we had great time with grandchildren they loved the hot tub to wake up to those views and sound of bird song never felt so relaxed we will definitely going back

Great place to get away from it all.

The remoteness.Although close to town. The property was on the panorama path.Great for walking and dog walking. Close to Llangollen town and England Wales border. Greatt for a long weekend away from it all. Hot tub available although we didn't use it.

No enclosed space for dog. Living room upstairs our dog kept running up and down stairs so not ideal for dog owners. Could have done with more detailed information about heating operation.. A smart tv would have been great too.

Lovely getaway.

We have been here before and have booked again…it’s cost and a lovely stay. The host Richard I’d lovely.

It’s not as clean as you’d hope…the bedding etc is but the floors and kitchen feel grubby. It needs more lighting (lamps)

Cosy relaxing break in a peaceful setting

Quiet relaxing stay, the cottage was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub is a great addition. Would recommend and hope to stay again, it’s a lovely location and very peaceful.

The best place we've ever stayed!

Absolutely perfect getaway! We stayed in the Panoramic Pod which is in a beautiful wooded area, very private and safe secure parking. The pod itself had everything we needed inc Smart TV with WiFi and a really good signal, kettle, single hob ring and mini fridge...The en-suite shower and toilet were so convenient and I do have to say that it is so warm and cosy but it also has a radiator as an extra boost, and it's almost soundproof with a double glazed door... We loved watching the wildlife from the decking, we even had squirrels looking through the glass door...Richard was so lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, we will definitely be back very soon!

Tricky drive up one track roads to reach the farm. Towels were a little tired, perfectly clean though. Carpets could do with cleaning.

Beautiful scenery excellent location and not far from the village, good parking nice warm property, and all the amenities. Dog friendly and spacious.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I would suggest a few mattress toppers.

We loved it and booking for next year

Great for our needs and fantastic views. Wheelchair access which made it possible to take my elderly mum away. Layout with perfect and the views from the lounge and in the balcony were perfect

Needed some grab rails in bathroom really but it didn’t spoil the stay, would just make a huge difference to those with mobility issues

Our first time in a pod5

It's an amazing little place. We were in the new pod, me, hubby, the pets. We had the area to ourselves and found an old chimenea which we used every night. We were surrounded by grouse,, hundreds of them, and even had sheep roaming past the pod, and the views were amazing. The only drawback is the proper single track roads, a bit scary at times, but we got through, just heed Richards instructions and go straight to Llangollen and go from there. The Panorama Road is not for the faint hearted... But we had an amazing, peaceful time, and our batteries are now recharged

Not much nearby, so be prepared. The pod is stocked with everything you need, but the tiny fridge only holds a couple of bottles of milk, water, etc, so you'd need to buy any food you're cooking daily The bed was a bit hard, But that's a sofa bed, but it's not the end of the world. It's pitch dark, so you need lights, torch, to see around outside at night. The hot tub is not for those staying in the pods, as it's a way up the road and for the houses But we had a great stay, and would love to go back again, next time a house with the rest of the family.

Quiet and peaceful get away

The location of the cottages where perfect for a relaxing, peaceful break away with our three fur babies. Plenty of local walks with stunning views with Llangollen town centre only a few minutes drive away. On arrival, we was greeted by the owner who was helpful and ensured we had everything we needed in our well maintained cottage.

Exceptional weekend getaway

The location with views over Llangollen and Castell Dinas Bran where exceptional with the lovely barn conversion all adding to the tranquility. Late evenings in the hot tub looking over the Welsh countryside was amazing.

Good stay overall. Lovely place

The property was remote and had lovely views and only a short distance from Llangollen town.

Access to the property was a bit dicey with it being so high up into the mountain. The roads to the property are steep, uneven and full of potholes so if you have a low car drive with caution as you can easily take the bottom out of your car. This is no fault of the property but could do with being told this before arrival. As there are 2 lodges, 3 cottages and a house that are available to stay, although the property is remote, it can be busy and there were lots of children running around screaming even at 10pm at night, so if you expect a quiet stay this is a possibility and they were also hanging out of the cottage window shouting abuse at my wife. Again not the fault of the property, more the parents of the children, but it is not as small and secluded as it seems. Hairs in shower, a used tissue on the dining chair between the wooden spindles and the seat cover, rusty microwave.

The cottage was pleasant but the fridge was not cleaned to appropriate standard neither was the cooker. I had to clean the lounge and the kitchen . But we will go back if the owner ensures the kitchen and fridge and cooker are cleaned inside fridge especially

Relaxed and comfortable in a lovely environment

The cottage was really quaint with original beams, giving a cosy feel in the lounge but very light and airy in the kitchen dining area (which used to be a milking parlour apparently!) the views over the fields are lovely and full of lambs, ducks & pheasants at this time of year!! Comfortable beds, hot shower, lovely owner happy to stop & chat! Hot tub with views always a bonus! Also… you x as need be ruins of Castell Dinas Bran it’s that close!

Nothing really, if I was to be really really picky, I’d suggest a long duster to get rid of cobwebs higher up and a good check under beds etc (we found empty can from presumably the previous occupants) but no TV Hong that so un ld prevent us from staying again. In fact, we’re planning to!!

Location is incredible. Beautiful walks, climbed up to catas Dinas Brân which was worth the slog! Llangollen town is lovely, great restaurants and shops. We stayed in the farmhouse and one of the chalets, the farmhouse is beautiful. Beds very comfy, very clean. Host helpful and responsive

Lovely house and owners, not so great hot tub.

Property was lovely, all facilities in the house was nice and we had a parking space.

The hot tub never got hot enough the first two nights. Then the 3rd night it was used by another. I was not aware it was shared until the deposit was paid, would not book again as this was the reason for my booking this property.
