We enjoyed our stay in the old farm house, set in the beautiful countryside Very peaceful about a 10 min drive into Llangollen, four bedrooms so accommodated our family comfortably, there was a lovely open fireplace in the lounge which we lit most nights, the host was always on hand to help with any queries or information

The stunning scenery and plenty of room to sit outside.

Nice and peaceful. In the middle of nature. Beautiful scenery and walks. Only "bad" thing is distance to town. It's a bit of a trek if you're going to walk. Absolutely brilliant holiday.

Location was wonderful. A short drive from Llangollen and in the middle of beautiful countryside. Plenty of parking and privacy. WiFi worked.

I did not realize how small the camping pod would be. That might be completely my fault for not paying attention to that. The biggest difficulty was the two single beds - it wasn’t a trundle, which is where the second bed slides out from under the first on wheels. It took a lot of effort so when you weren’t sleeping it was way too much of a pain to put the beds back giving you zero space in the pod. There were also loads of big decorative pillows/cushions that had to be stacked on the floor which took up space. The weather was warm which was a challenge. The only light and ventilation comes from the door. I was way too hot and stuffy with the door closed but as soon as we opened it bugs came in. It really needs a screen door for summer. It wasn’t as clean as it could have been. We had to rewash any cutlery that we used and the edges of the floor weren’t clean. Finally, this was the only property that had no welcome pack. We stayed in many different places and all the others had at least coffee/tea and milk. Others included cookies/fresh bread/hot chocolate etc. It’s not a dealbreaker but when you arrive after traveling it’s so much easier to make a drink when stuff is provided rather than having to unpack first etc. Especially with this property because it was so small.
