Location was excellent around 100 yards from the town, station and canal
Facilities were very good and the parking permit was a nice bonus
The sofa bed was ok for a small child but mattress uncomfortable for a teenager or adult

Ideal location and lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need
Parking permit was great
Nothing not to like everything is lovely and clean
I’m not sure if the iron is working as I tried to use it but couldn’t
However the permit for parking is great which states you can park anywhere with it … I maybe made a mistake of parking on the car park next to the public car park because it said permits only but came back to a note on the car to say not to park there so if this is the case I thought I’d point it out in case anyone else made that mistake

Proximity to town was perfect and the place was exactly as expected, small but perfect for a little getaway and everything was decorated beautifully and they had some really lovely little touches like syrups at the coffee station. Would highly recommend.
Nothing that the owners can control at all but if you've got small children or excitable dogs its good to know the pavement from the house to town is very narrow and the road quite busy. We had two dogs and a dog buggy and struggled a little but its a minor thing really and its only a few hundred yards.

Location
On entering the cottage we were severely disappointed. There is a severe lack of daylight downstairs and with the grey and beige colour palette it just felt so drab. However, it’s probably not as bad on dull winter days with the fire lit.
The kitchen was lacking in some basic equipment and the pans and trays looked grubby so i wouldn’t use them. The bedroom and bathroom were acceptable.
