Nice stay

Great location for local walks and all restaurants/bars The fire is a nice touch but be sure to bring more wood. Felt really cosy with this on. Nice shower and clean bathroom, nice towels Well equipped kitchen and nice touches with the coffee/tea/biscuits Really quiet location and felt safe Easy check in

The bathroom door doesn’t shut Fire alarm went off twice as it’s above the fireplace, the fire was closed at the time and we weren’t cooking etc. I think the heat of the fire just set it off but it’s a strange place to have the alarm. Not a massive issue though. Bit of a mould problem in the bedroom, fine for a couple of nights but wouldn’t stay for a long time

Small cottage in the centre of Llangollen

Great location, short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage was tastefully furnished and very clean. The parking permit was a plus and the car could be parked near the cottage.

The double bed was a bit small, could do with at least a king size bed. The TV in the lounge was fixed to the wall and not on an arm so it was difficult to watch if you were sitting at one end of the sofa. We thought about moving the sofa but it would block the entrance to the kitchen.

Host not contactable

Location was great

I had a disappointing experience with this property. Communication with the host was extremely difficult, and I was unable to get in contact when needed ( no NETFLEX). The room had an unpleasant smell, likely from animals, which made it uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom door hinges were loose, and even the hanger was not secure. The presence of cobwebs in the room suggested that cleanliness was not up to standard. Overall, I would not recommend this stay

It's such a lovely little place maybe a tad pricey .

Sofa bed is very uncomfortable, and it was very cold on arrival ... Then after 20 I ran out of firewood

It’s our second family stay here. Lovely place to stay, comfortable clean and lovely hosts

We had 2 rooms booked and they very clean with all the things you need. Fresh milk and tea bags were much appreciated after a long journey. Comfy beds too. We even had use of the garden area of the property and one room had a terrace/ garden to itself.( the shippon I think it was ) Easy access into rooms

The only thing to consider is the traffic noise when in the hayloft/ granary. We bought earplugs

Once in … my stay was faultless plenty of tea and coffee and toiletries supplied. After just minutes

There was nothing to dislike the premises : it was perfectly located in the centre of the town meaning everything was in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the rooms quite cool despite soaring temperatures outsidenbp.

I had never encountered the secure lock system before making collecting the keys problematical. I telephoned the number on my documents but got no reply. Fortunately a neighbour emerged to assist me and I gained entry but only aftr half an hour : there ought to be a fallback system for clients having difficulty gaining entry.

A cute cottage in a beautiful location.

Great location, easy reach of the town centre, private location.

A consideration for future guests; the sofa bed could do with a new mattress as you could feel all springs. We did put extra covers on the mattress to help. Being a pet owner, would suggest a deep clean to the lounge carpet/sofa/chair.

Not enjoyable. It felt miserable.

Location

On entering the cottage we were severely disappointed. There is a severe lack of daylight downstairs and with the grey and beige colour palette it just felt so drab. However, it’s probably not as bad on dull winter days with the fire lit. The kitchen was lacking in some basic equipment and the pans and trays looked grubby so i wouldn’t use them. The bedroom and bathroom were acceptable.

A convenient and enjoyable stay in pleasant accommodation.

The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were attractive and spacious, and very comfortable. The location was excellent for access to the town and the facilities in the house were good. A parking permit was provided.

The kitchen eating area was cramped, and viewing the tv from the couch was an issue. The premises were not easy to locate on Satnav, which directed you to the next door property complex, and it took some time walking around to finally locate the house even with the help of some local residents. Parking was a short walk away across and down the road, in a car parking area adjacent to a former hotel. Security of our hire car was a concern to us.

Lovely location, facilities were perfect. Nice touch with biscuit, tea and coffee. Everything was clean and tidy. Quick replies from property owners over any concerns or questions.

Could have done with some more toilet roll and maybe some herbal tea options. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but fine for a 2 night stay. The handbook was super helpful in looking for food places but some recommend takeaways would have been a nice touch as well.

Great Location for Llangollen!

Great Location, really comfy cute little cottage. Loved the wood burner and the parking was really easy just over the road.

Proximity to town was perfect. Cottage bathroom had great shower plenty of hot water and towels. Car park pass very useful thank you.

Location was perfect and facilities were mostly clean. Lovely, cosy modern house.

The property has an underlying dog smell. I understand this is a dog friendly property and I imagine it wouldn’t bother you if you are a dog owner. My toddler was covered in dog hair after rolling around the floor and socks were dirty. Maybe a carpet clean would be helpful.

It’s not totally clear straightaway that the second bed is the sofa bed in the living room, which although I didn’t sleep in it, our friends said it could have been a little comfier.
