Catherine was a wonderful hostess who offered much information about local places to visit.

Wonderful breakfast with choice of fruit , nut and yoghurt as a starter, followed by choice of eggs, bacon, mushrooms tomato, salmon, avocado variety of breads. Plenty of tea or coffee and fruit juices.

We had to leave, a few more days to explore the area would have been nice.

This place is is a haven, I cannot recommend it enough

Delicious breakfast, with starter and main, and the additional offer of homemade blueberry pancakes from our wonderful host Catherine. I wish our appetites had been bigger! We were also given a delicious berry crumble with ice-cream and tea and coffee on arrival. Gourmet style food and the warmest of welcomes in beautiful surroundings

Not applicable, there was nothing to dislike, I have to apologise to Catherine because my previous review was on display but I made an error and posted a view for another place near a golf course, so if anyone saw that please ignore it.

A perfect B&B!

This B&B is on the outskirts of Dungarvan in a quiet housing area, but the town is easily accessible with plenty of parking. We were welcomed by our very friendly & accommodating host who showed us to our room & invited us for homemade rhubarb crumble & ice-cream - delicious! The house was beautifully decorated, with tasteful art & ornaments. Our room was lovely...well decorated, clean & comfortable, with a great en-suite shower room. Breakfast the following morning was excellent...so much on offer...and so many choices. Our host certainly took hosting seriously. We certainly didn't need lunch that day! All-in-all a perfect place to stay.

The B&B is beautifully decoratd, the bed was very comfortable and the host made us feel extremely welcomed. The highlight of the stay was the food, absolutely delicious! Lovely walk from the BnB into town and it's close to everything in Dungarvan.

Exceptional

This B&B was exceptional. Catherine was very welcoming, had the room in immaculate condition, and went beyond expectations. We were greeted with rhubarb crumble and ice cream on arrival, the room had everything you could need - water, tea/coffee facilities, storage, beautiful en suite and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, 3 courses! The level of detail Catherine goes to is amazing, and we were delighted with our stay

The room was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed, including toiletries. There was a bottle of wine in the room for us and chocolate biscuits. The breakfast was freshly made each morning and was exceptionally good. The host was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. There was parking at the front.

A warm welcome awaits you

Catherine is an amazing host and her home is cozy and inviting. She is very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information in general. I highly recommend seeking her advice on local area eating establishments and touring suggestions.The B&B location is in a quiet residential neighborhood only a short walk into town. Parking is directly out front. We were treated to a special arrival surprise of a hot berry crumble with icecream tea and coffee. Another little arrival surprise was in our bedroom too. Breakfast is a gourmet experience that I've never seen anywhere in my travels. Catherine's home is spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds, and lovely ensuite bathrooms. Dungarvan is a nice location to base yourself for 2 to 3 days with many hiking trails and the Waterford Greenway Biking Trail (highly recommended). If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay with Catherine, please take it.

No 12 is a positive Jewel in the Crown. Catherine certainly knows how to look after her guests.

On arrival at No 12 you receive a warm welcome from Catherine together with tea & coffee plus a choice of fruit crumbles. Breakfast is simply like a banquet.. Great menu on offer and everything is home cooked and well presented. After one of Catherine’s breakfast you don’t feel the need to eat until late in the day. Great location for exploring the Copper Coat together with Youghal, Ballycotton, Waterford, Tramore etc. Recommended places to eat are The Moorings and 360 Cookhouse. Booking advisable

The extremely talented Catherine at No 12 has created the best B&B experience we've ever had. We booked very last minute with some specific requests but nothing was too much trouble for her. From the moment you enter you are greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome and the comfort of a home away from home. The whole house was so beautifully & tastefully decorated with amazing, calming colours and gorgeous art and everywhere was immaculately clean. Being met on arrival with warm homemade berry crumble and ice cream was such a treat!😋 The room and ensuite themselves were very clean & comfortable and once again beautifully and artistically decorated. Catherine had all the local knowledge and even gave us menus and advice on where to eat that evening which we really appreciated. The location was ideal for where we needed to go. The town centre itself is lively and vibrant and the town square feels like mainland Europe rather than Ireland. The 3 course breakfast was the icing on the cake.... so luxuriously decadent and delicious it really blew us away. As you can see we are definitely foodies and art lovers and this B&B completely exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!🙏😁

The only small suggestion I would have is maybe having a top sheet available for bed as we found it quite warm during the night. Better too warm than too cold though 🙂.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight in No 12, Catherine is a wonderful host welcoming but not noisy. It was comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed the 25 minute walk into the town along the river. The breakfast was definitely one of the best we had with lots of nice touches

The location isn't the most exciting but the countryside around there is pretty especially if you are on a roadtrip.
