Dun Ard

We had a lovely couple of days at Dun Ard and Joe is a great host and gave us a very friendly welcome as well as lots of useful info. We had a fantastic view from the room which was very modern and comfortable, and the bathroom is exceptional. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful location, but a ten minute drive will take you into the lovely town of Dungarvan; there is also a regular bus if you don't drive. There's a great little pub over the road which offers a few basic, but good pizzas, as well as a lovely pint of Guinness. A 20 minute walk will take you down to a little picturesque port, where there is also another pub/restaurant, but we didn't try this place. Very recommended room and host! :-)

No breakfast. But close to town and a few great pubs recommended to us by the owners.

Everything was great.

Very Clean and well maintained, large room and super king bed, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet area, water, tea/coffee in room, good value, nice greeting from the manager/owner and helpful with suggestions on places to eat, didn’t have to do multiple nights.
