It was an ok place to go to sleep

The room was big, bed comfy enough.

The shower leaked. And the tea/coffee buscuits were not replenished on the 2nd night

The shower was cold took ages to figure it out and get a decent warm shower whilst I was doing this. The floor was getting very wet.

An excellent place to stay in Manchester

We enjoyed our stay at the Oxnoble, and it is now firmly on our list for staying over for gigs in Manchester. It is within easy walking distance of both Albert Hall and the Deansgate Castlefield tram stop for connections to Piccadilly. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and good value, as was our evening meal before heading out. The staff were, without exception, very welcoming and friendly. It is an older style pub so there are some steep stairs.

No complaints, but it would be great if there were more small plate options

Fantastic staff and great facilities

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, a particular shoutout to Heather, who was so accommodating during our stay. The facilities are great and very clean. Only a small walk from the city centre, so the area is very quiet but still close enough for easy access to the city! We were able to get early check in, for a fantastic price, which made our first day of the trip so much more relaxed. Their breakfast is also very good! Highly recommend that you stay here if you want a stress free peaceful trip to the city

A fantastic stay in a great location with a stylish room and excellent amenities.

Hotel is in a great location in Manchester. Above a beautiful and classy pub. The pub / hotel staff were mostly friendly and ready to assist. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious with excellent amenities such as tea, coffee and biscuits. The smart TV was a bonus. Overall, I was really impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay again.

3pm check in is a bit late and 11am check out is a bit early but the hotel does offer an early check in for a fee and the storage room for bags definitely solved that problem for me. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about my stay. It really exceeded my expectations.

Clean, warm, comfy room above a real-ale pub

Great location for Deansgate. Well-kept real ale. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Bed was really comfortable. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again when visiting Manchester

Big room, okay if you plan ahead

Decent location for getting into central Manchester, only a 10 minute walk to St Peters square and there's the Deansgate tram stop just around the corner. The room was quite large with two comfy twin beds and a pull out settee. Bathroom was fine and the shower was powerful and easy to use. The room was clean and had ironing board and an iron.

It would have been nice to have had some bottled water in the room as there are no shops around, in the end we got some from behind the bar which was kind of them. If you are staying here make sure you pick up anything you need before the shops start to close as the nearest convenience shop is a 20 minute walk away. This is a busy pub so don't expect the kind of welcome you would get at a hotel.

Good for an overnight stay

Good location, close to Deansgate station and the tram stop. Room was clean, bed was big and comfortable. Staff are lovely and very efficient.

Facilities are good, personal so so rude

The bedroom was big, beautiful and cozy, the shower was good, they had some coffee, milk and little snacks in the room. Heating was at the top, but the bathroom would get a bit colder because of the older window. They had all toiletries, including conditioner and a hairdryer at disposal in the room.

Personal very rude. I came to check in early (around 1:30pm) and the lady said the check in was at 3pm, to come back later, they had a restaurant on the ground floor, but she never offered me to stay, or take my luggage or if I needed to use the restroom, she kinda just kicked me off. I went for lunch elsewhere and then came back at 2:45pm cause I really need to rush my check in cause I had to work at 3:30pm and I told her that we she said it was not possible, for me to sit and wait that at 3pm my room would be ready. At 2:59pm I went to the desk again and she wasn't there and then asked me to fill up a form and present a document and credit card (things I could have done before) and gone up at 3pm to the bedroom. When I complained, she said she had to check in other people that arrived before me, but I actually arrived hours before, I just didn't stay cause she was the worst receptionist ever.

Heating in bathroom/towelrack would be nice. The tap could use some adjustment, and the shower tube was not cleaned for a long time.

Great location and comfortable stay

I needed to be near my works event and The Oxnoble was literally opposite. Rooms were of a good standard and very clean. Superb breakfast.

Just needed the bathroom handle not to keep coming off but this was told to staff who were apologetic. As it was for just the night didn’t make to much of a fuss.

Faulty facilities

A particular member of staff was very helpful and tried his best to rectify the problem I had

Not having the tv working effectively and dodgy side lights. Switches not working correctly, could be classed as a health and safety issue ! Unfortunately there was a massive problem with the tv, which for me is a very important part of my stay. If I'm paying good money, I want the tv. Was never offered a partial refund !

Spacious Room and Friendly Staff

The staff were very friendly, and very helpful. A special mention to Sam who gave us a thorough welcome including the fire safety talk and was generally very responsive to our needs during our stay. The food was amazing, both evening meal and breakfast and the room and bathroom were bigger than we expected.

The room was very cold, the window was closed and we had turned the radiator on (although this didn't seem to work), it was too late in the evening that we discovered this that we couldn't notify anyone. Also when we turned the light on in the bathroom it seemed to make a banging noise (possibly from the extractor fan), not a bad thing just slightly annoying! But this did not distract from the fact that we had a great stay!

Poor quality rooms. Little assistance from management.

The bar staff were great and the food was excellent.

The shower was hot. Dangerously so. The TV didn't work. Toilet seat nearly fallen off. All points communicated to staff but no action by managers. The floors creak and any warnings about noise from the bar downstairs are only mentioned in room details.....after you've booked and paid !! Not good enough for £100 a night.

Fantastic warm welcome and stay in a pub that is in a great location !

The check-in experience was most excellent, I was greeted by 2 very friendly helpful gentlemen who checked me in and then pointed out all the things I needed to know including fire alarm procedures. We went upstairs to my room which I was expecting to be quite small (not sure why I thought that) but it couldn't have been more different - it was huge and had a massive bed and a sofa. The bath room had a sink toilet and shower. Everything was clean and well maintained including a selection or tea and coffee plus biscuits. The room was quite warm but there was a fan which I did use. The view was Liverpool Road which is a busy main road but the noise didn't disturb me at all - I didn't have breakfast but I was advised that I didn't need to book should I change my mind. Fantastic stay I couldn't fault it and as my event was at the Science and Industry museum I was in the perfect location as I was on my own - Thank You for making my stay so memorable Ill be back

Better than any big hotel group for a stay in Manchester 😀

The location was great for the Manchester Opera House. Easy to access from Manchester Piccadilly via tram system. To note the free bus also goes to the Oxnoble. Room clean and comfy beds. Good shower. Food excellent from bar Menu and also lots of breakfast choice included in price. Staff friendly, helpful. Especially the breakfast waiter he was such a happy person and a great person to chat to at the start of the day. I highly recommend the Oxnoble

Fantastic location, great staff and very comfortable clean room!

Fantastic central location, we were warmly greeted by Sam and his team . We both had a gorgeous freshly cooked Sunday roast and were extremely well looked after by ALL the staff thru to coffee the next morning sat outside in the sun before departing. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we will be recommending to friends and family and we look forward to staying again for future events in beautiful Manchester
