The Ashcroft Studios & Apartments with Free Parking

We planned to visit Chester, Liverpool and Manchester during these days. That’s the reason this place was absolutely perfect. It is situated close to the train station, is comfy, cleaned and has all the amanities that you could need!

Everything about my stay was amazing! The reception staff were incredibly kind and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The property itself was beautiful and very well maintained. Everything was spotless and clean.

The staff who helps look after the rooms is very quick to respond and very helpful.

No washing machine in the complex, which isn't specifically listed in the amenities, but as all the other kitchen items were there I presumed there would be, so just highlighting this for anyone else. Put in my booking that the part would be two people and was only given one set of towels. Was unsure what utensils in the shared kitchen was free to use and whether anything belonged to permanent residents. There are no signs really anywhere in the kitchen, or signs to the kitchen (which made finding it tricky). The ovens and kitchen utensils were filthy. Wifi was poor and signal kept dropping out. The heating is fixed and you can't change it, so I'd come back from work at 6pm and it would be freezing because the heating was not due on until 10pm, then I'd wake up hot in the night because it was too high. When I arrived my door keypad battery was low so it was immediately changed. A couple days later when I returned the keypad had completely died and I couldn't get into the room. I was told someone would be out to change it the next day and I was let into the room. I then made the room look presentable and left the next day, came back and made it a mess again thinking the electrician had been and gone. The day after was actually when the keypad was changed, but I hadn't been made aware of this. To fix the keypad someone has to open and come into your room. A heads up text in the morning would have sufficed so I would know someone was entering the space. The car park is very full so it can be hard to find a space. Also, the car park smells of weed a lot, if that's not really your thing/you're travelling with young kids.

The rooms were sound proof in the apartment and it was a good locaton and reasonable price.

The apartment wasn't clean. There were hairs on the bed and dusty. Coffee table & table had stains on it. Delph and cutlerly could habe been cleaner There were no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner in one of the bathrooms. There were two parties all night in the building with studios so the guest staying there got no sleep.
