The staff were friendly and although our room wasn't ready when we were told it would be, they let us drop our bags into the room and get changed so that we could make our way to Old Trafford in plenty of time before the room was cleaned. We were appretiative of this. On our return, the room was clean and comfortable if somewhat basic.
I was originally supposed to be staying in the Trivelles Eccles.... I was contacted a few days before to be told that our room had been double booked and we were to be given a free upgrade and as an apology we could have a 12.30pm early check-in.... on arrival the room was not ready and I was asked to pay for the early check-in.... although once the situation was explained, this was resolved. I don't believe this was actually an upgrade because if anything the Eccles hotel looked to be considerably nicer.

Nothing
The room was near the tram so VERY VERY noisy and one panel of double glazing was broken so we couldn’t shut out the noise. When the wind blew which it did there wad a very creaky sign which also disturbed sleep
Also the bottom Floor was a homeless
Hoste.

Parking
Rat traps outside the bedroom doors
Sink was blocked
Tiny flies in room
Filthy room
Haven't stopped itching since leaving room
No sleep due to the trams
No sleep due to other people shouting in their room.
Clearly a half way house as people I met were less desirable and clearly not there for work/holiday.
Bed sheets had cigarette burns in
Room stank
Internet went off on both evenings
Only a hand towel provided
Bathroom door had been punched multiple times
Blood and stains over bathroom walls
Mould in bathroom
Could go on........

The host /staff was great
It should be classed as a hostel not a hotel. Would not advise if your travelling for work and need to sleep, from noisy neighbours to trams until 12. 30am that you feel through the bed. Not clean but this is due to previous guests abusing the place

Not a single thing.
Everything, there was just so much wrong with it. Not worth the money at all.

The water in shower was hot enogh
Walls painted halfway with different shades; door boarded from what I can guess holes from the past, damp in corners of shower, but by far the worst thing was the location of my room with tram tracks running next to the wall where my bed was!! Trams running late in evening and then again from 5am - luckily, I had ear plugs, but they only cover the noise, and the trams were causing the whole room and bed to shake while they were passing by! The only reason I stayed there was because it was late at night and I needed a rest before another busy day at work - otherwise I wouldn't risk staying there

Cheapest hotel.
It's very, very basic and needs thorough modernisation and a lack of paint everywhere.

Location was great, close to public transport. Car park was also good. Bed was comfortable.
Although some previous negative review issues had been addressed, there were still some which had not. There is still an iron burn on the (worn) carpet; There are holes in the wall which appear to be for a missing shelf; the shower base has been re-grouted, but there are still lines of grimy grout on the shower tiles. The toilet seat is still loose.
On arrival, I found that there was no towel, reception was unable to provide one. I later discovered (after reception closed) that there was no tea spoon. There were tea/coffee making supplies, but I had to rinse the cup first which was either dirty, or badly water stained. At one point, I dropped something on the floor and while searching for it, moved a small chest of drawers and found some litter underneath it. The blinds weren't working, so I had no natural light in the room for the 2 days I was there. The place seemed to have a lot of potential, but is in a state of neglect with poor housekeeping. Having said all that, I did sleep well.

Well located for travel, next to Weaste Tram Stop. Otherwise nothing positive about this hotel.
Noisy all day and all through the night. Continuous racket from other guests next door. Reception staff unable or unwilling to provide a quieter room or otherwise address the problem and repeated emails to Trivelles management to raise this issue have been ignored. Would not stay at this hotel again, had hardly any sleep over three nights and was unwell on returning home as a result !

Nothing.
The room did not look as advertised. there was a hole that had been punched into the wall, an iron burn in the carpet, the walls were dirty and stained, the mirror was smashed and held together with tape. the furniture was falling apart. I was given no towels and ended up purchasing my own. I was told to ensure I was quiet as there were a family in the room next to me, this wasn’t true as I then had to spend 4 hours the next night listening to couples screaming at each other that they had, and I quote “smoked too much spice, I told you stop smoking that now”. I was honestly in fear to leave my room as they were screaming at each other in the hallways and they were not told to be quiet or leave, this happened multiple nights of my stay. this wasn’t helped by the fact reception shuts at 10pm and there is nobody in the hotel to assist you.

I accorded flexibility despite arriving after the Reception was closed. Room was reasonably clean.
The Guesthouse looks rundown on the outside. Some of the furniture were fallen apart. The location by the tram station posed difficulty in sleeping and when I finally drifted off, the couple next door started fighting unto the corridors.
Highly chaotic! No refund rather, i was offered no a free night in the future on a quieter Floor and Manager stated that most of his guests are placed their by the Council's Homelessness Unit.
It is not value for money nor for anyone on a Work trip - no desk and noisy.

Absolutely nothing!
The place is falling apart and stink.
There's hardly anyone on the reception all day!
The front door 🚪 is always open(so absolutely no security) anyone can freely walk in any time.
I could go on and on.... AVOID !!!
Asked for a room service after 4 night there!
Didn't have any... had to make a complaint,so the next day they finally changed the bedding....and absolutely nothing else (left the toilet dirty and no fresh towels 😒 the place is a mess ... just save little more and save all the stress! Never again

The beds were comfortable.
The room was dirty and the tv cable did not work kept on cutting out. The wires was hanging from the wall and the bathroom had a lot of hairs in and the door was hard to unlock as if their was a fire it would be dangerous.

CAbsolutely filthy - totally disgusting. Reception tried to get us to pay a further £144 demanding that we had not payed for our stay had to show them booking and credit card payment. It should not be being booked out my husband did not sleep he has allergies and dust and dirt and damp were so bad he coughed and sneezed all night. There was mould everywhere - I have never been in any accommodation as disgusting as this. It is not fit to rent out. That is a generous review. I was unable even to put anything on the floor of the room as it was damp and dirty. I would strongly recommend this was removed from booking.com as if that is the standard of accommodation available I will really think hard about using booking.com in the future. Totally upset and disgusted

The staff were friendly enough and location good to get about
They foned and asked me to pay cash when I get there during the day and again when I arrived but I'd already paid on my card. The room was pretty shocking for the price dirty marks and spillages on the walls the sheets on bed had stains on them and it looked like someone had been lying on the bed no soap in bathroom 1 towel no breakfast for £65 shocking really. Nice lads on reception but spoke limited English so hard to communicate. If the room was £30-£40 I wudnt really complain but £65!!!

beds were comfy, decent location, good price, friendly staff, early check in
we didn’t even stop in this hotel we were rang about an hour before arriving to say that they had booked us in another one of their accommodations in Manchester so didn’t actually stay at this location. Bathroom needs a lot of TLC as did the blinds

The beds were very nice, new and comfortable. The bedding was also vrty clean and new. The man on reception was friendly and helpful.
The hotel was not fit for purpose. It has residents who are suffering with addictions. We were even offered drugs and the residents informed us this is not a hotel for lesiure. As two mature woman travellimg alone we felt very vunerable. The building is in very poor repair and dirty. We had a window cill full of dead wasps, no kettle on the tea tray and the toilet seat was off the toilet. We had no bath mat or spare towel and the floor got very wet. The one good thing about our room was that the beds were new and the bedding was clean. The outside of the hotel was also very dirty with bags of rubbish and old clothes. I dont think this accommodation should be advertised on your site for paying guests, i am very dissapointed.

The location was very handy to reach the venue i had come to attend. It was relatively cheap & clean. Felt secure with the key card and i wasn’t disturbed. Staff helpful if you needed them. On site parking was very helpful.
The building looked almost derelict from the outside with the hotel names half covered over in black plastic & the front door not in use. I nearly went away thinking the hotel was closed! Expecting it to be a hotel this appears to be used as a hostel and at the time i stayed, some residents who were frequently sat outside in the car park chatting, were the ones who helped guide me on how to get in. I walked through the open side door, along a couple of small corridors to find a reception desk, where there was someone to help. I had a single bed comfortable enough in a very small room, adequate because i was just there to sleep the nights i stayed.
