Nice place for short stays

Clean with necessary equipment. Close to beach and restaurants. Safe and secure.

Should supply clean dish towels. No in house laundry washing facilities for long stays.

Nice basic place with few facilitie so better for stays of a week plus or bring everything you need.

A nice little one room place. Well located near the harbour and for some great walks. A small plunge pool with a couple of loungers. For most of the time we were the only people there but when the other units are occupied there is little or no privacy. Nice views of the sea.

When you rent somewhere with a kitchen you expect a few basics such a salt/pepper, etc. - NOTHING. There were no beach towels and only one hand towel between two of us! There were 2 coat hangers in the wardrobe. Although good in many ways, the location is right on the edge of town right across from some rather run down local's houses (look on Google Earth!)

27 years anniversary get away.

I loved the view looking over the ocean, and clean bedding and utensils and the fact that I could watch my favorite sports channels.

I could not sleep properly, first night was very restless the wind that came through the doors and window it was like camping outside, and the meer fact my car is not in a secured area, and also easy excess, there was people walking on to the place, could hear footsteps outside???

Perfect for two

The cottage is such a perfect space for a couple wanting to have a quick, cozy and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle city. The bedroom view was such a pleasant surprise and so breathtaking. Paternoster has been a top stay place of ours, usually with friends but this is more than adequate for 2. Facilities are great, off street parking safe, security patrols and staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Wish we knew we should have brought an extra blanket, was quite chilly.

It was our first time to Paternoster, we will definitley visit again soon.

Our Restaurant of of choice for breakfast, lunch and supper was Benguela Blue. Its a very chilled and vibey. Dreamcatcher Thyme was exactly what we needed. Quint and private for a couple. All amenities were met. It was walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.

We were new to the area, I was worried about our safety. Our Paternoster neighbours were friendly and very polite, it felt like home once we were settled. Dreamcatcher Thyme was secured with an alarm. We made sure windows were closed when we left for the day to explore and alarm was set.

I loved the tranquility..the fact that I could just sit and relax at the pool..or just walk to the beach which was only minutes away.

The only thing I thought they could improve was inside the shower it was mouldy..

Letting us know when the power was off. No diswasher, no towels for the pool. No tea, coffee, small soap to wash hands, one roll of toiletpaper. Strange to pay deposit by banktransfer for damage. Looking forward to receive the amount back.

Pleasant for a weekend stay

The collection reception was a slight drive from the accommodation, however well explained.

No instructions were provided for checkout, the reception office was closed and no one answered the phone. A local kid had to figure out how the returns work and we were not the only guests left "stranded" with checkout. No one returned my call either

Place was comfortable and clean, dislike, was the rattling the Friday night as the wind was blowing, kept me awake.

as I stated above, the rattling when the wind blows, also asked for parking which I never got.
