Breakfast was great.

No problems - everything was great.

Very comfortable beds, large room. A coffee machine at breakfast that grinds the coffee for each cup, making a very tasty coffee. We had a problem with the room and went back to the front desk to address the issue. The very nice young woman (we forgot to ask her name, she was new to the hotel) immediately apologized and made sure to give us a different room.

When we got there, our room was clearly not vacuumed (crumbs all over), and there were three inches of water in the tub.

The staff was great, the bed was comfortable, it’s close to shopping and restaurants and the coffee is great!!

We checked into our original room and the shower was not clean. We were moved into a ground level room a little smaller with 2 queens and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Yes, someone cleaned it but let’s just say it looked rushed since there was still hair in the tub, the overflow kept popping off. The indoor pool is freezing cold and a bit unbearable for anyone but kids. I got into it with my son but didn’t enjoy it. There was one other family and only the daughter got in because mom thought it was too cold. Someone had washed clothes that must have been a needle user (some need them for meds, idk) because there were several wrappers that were in the washer, no needles. Needless to say we didn’t enjoy having to clean the washer out considering we didn’t know if we’d get pricked. The breakfast wasn’t great. We came down with 45 minutes left and the lady didn’t want to refill the waffle mix because “it would take 5-10 minutes to prepare and then l’d have to throw away what’s not used.” Many things were empty and you’d have to ask to have them refilled. If you like a carb filled breakfast with a few bread choices, waffles, oatmeal, sugary juice- it’s for you. But don’t count on anything great when it comes to the eggs and meat. They don’t even have jam to spread across the bread. I miss the days of the peanut butter.

The staff is clueless about how to communicate with booking.com or to message back to me through the app. Even though they agreed to cancel my reservation and waive the fees on the phone TWICE, they would not communicate it to Booking and then reported me as a no-show, so I was charged $114. I was repeatedly told they would have their GM Rachel call me back and not once did she attempt to. We had a job scheduled that was canceled and now we're out $114 due to lack of professionalism and care. That's a lot of grocery ang gas money to flush down the toilet. I will no longer be staying with Holiday Inn and do not recommend this location, at all. Booking.com 100% backed up the fact that the hotel and it's employees let me down here. They attempted to reach them by phone and email, only to receive the same lack of hospitality. The hotel should not be allowed to use Booking, if they aren't willing to understand how it works.
