    The hotel room is small, but definitely a good place to stay! Near to the train station, 7 mins walk from JR west exit. Many free things can get from the lobby. Free drinks available also. Overall, cleanliness, distance and everything is perfect! No regrets. The only con is the room is small, but is okay. The beds so comfortable

    The hotel is in a convenient location a few minutes walk from the Shinkansen. Be careful booking rooms as they publish different room photos. My room was pictured as having a balcony. I was however allocated a room next to the housekeeping room and every day a stinking bin was placed next to my door. I understand Kyoto is popular with foreigners however foreigners are not popular with this hotel. You’ll receive some ‘attitude’ from some members of staff, in particular at breakfast where they pack in as many as possible and may offer you a makeshift table. For some reason they still have COVID protection on the tables and covid era stickers on the lift floor! I’ve no idea why and didn’t bother to ask as I’m sure I would have received a shoulder shrug. The hotel has two wings and is poorly designed and has the feel of a rabbit warren as they’ve tried to squeeze too many rooms into too little space. I’m a regular visitor to Kyoto and to be honest after 5 nights was delighted to leave this hotel. Not recommended. I will not return ever!
