The location and view

No ice or water. No condiments. No coffee. The lock on the gate. No lights on outside staircase. No top sheet. Shall I continue?

Great location

Location was great, loved sitting on the balcony.

Needs air-con - would put me off booking again in the summer - fans were not effective enough during the night. Very uncomfortable, too hot. You couldn’t use the bed in the living room as no window blinds at the French doors.

Loved our stay in Varenna

Location, location, location! Very easy access to station and ferry port. Unlike many places in this area access was virtually flat. Wonderful outdoor living (two balconies!) with stunning views and very comfortable apartment with cooking facilities if you wish to cook.

Be aware there is no air conditioning- just two fans - so it was hot at night, but this didn’t detract from our stay.

Very good

Location was very handy for the ferries and only a short walk along the lakeside to reach the many good restaurants in Varenna. The balcony was great for lake watching in the evening. Good sized appartment althugh slightly flattered by the photos

Little things like no plug in the kitchen sink, no curtians on the bedroom window and a difficult to use balcony door but overall a very pleasurable experience

The property is close to the ferry and train station and a good size with a washer.

The check in process is inconvenient as you have to walk up a hill to get a key then back down the hill to the apartment, self check in would be better. the listing was chosen because of the balcony view of the water. once we arrived in the property there was a notice that the door was broken and we could not use the balcony. the manager offered fo switch us to another property but the one offered had a most unusual sleeping apparatus that was more like a piece of art than a bed, not flat like a mattress but highly curved so that your legs would be up in the air all night. the lighting is very poor, making it almost impossible to read maps or books at night in the kitchen or living room. the apartment keys did not work on the interior gate so that we had to put our hand through the gate and use the key from the outside to let ourselves out of the property. we would not stay here again.

Locatie met zicht op het meer en de pier van de pont, dicht bij centrum

Totaal geen parkeergelegenheid nabij. 3 dagen in openbare garage was enige optie, 75 euro extra aftikken, 15 min lopen.
